The NCETM have devised and honed a collaborative professional development model called a Work Group which we have adopted here at the BBO Maths Hub as the primary way of developing mastery-based teaching in the region. Work groups will typically run for up to a year, meeting regularly and with one or two nominated experienced Teaching for Mastery Specialist teachers taking the lead.
Join the BBO Maths Hub Community and be part of a collaborative national network of 40 hubs, to develop and spread excellent practice for the benefit of all pupils and students
BBO Maths Hub offers a wide range of professional development programmes, including Subject Leadership, Subject Knowledge Enhancement across all phases including Further Education.
Targeted Support in Maths supports primary and secondary schools to make sustained change in maths.
