Am I the only one who immediately realized WHATTA Week this past one was for Past /Present NC State Head Football Coaches

…. At least ones named “Chuck The Chest” Amato and “Dour Dave” Doeren …

Chuck passed away at 80; RIP Coach Amato.

…and Dave … its been 24 hours so surely you know “about Dave”.  An odd Coincidence !!!!

_________

TRIVIA QUESTION:  How many former NCSU Head FB Coaches are still “above ground”? … Earl Edwards – Al Michaels – Lou Holtz – Bo Rein – Tom Reed – Monty Kiffin –  Dick Sheridan – Chuck Amato – NOPE NOPE NOPE … All Gone.

I’m thinking Tom O’Brien – Mike O’Cain and now Dave Doeren are IT.

For UNC … I think “Burly John” – “The Butcher” – Fedora – and “The Reverend” Mack Brown are it.
