mom life + entrepreneur life + creativity as featured on pinhole press
recently (a well – delayed repost from mothers day) i was interviewed by pinhole press discussing a subject near and dear to my heart and one that i juggle with on a daily basis; how i integrate motherhood, running a business and creativity.
it is always a delicate balance; business is always on your mind; creatively thinking about your clients, staying current on all your sources of social communication, staying inspired, and evolving as your grow, and then most importantly – growing a little person.
being a mother has kept me on my toes, has been the most rewarding and has taught me a lot about myself. it also has become a great source of inspiration for me. learn more on my interview over on pinhole press.

Modern Showroom Shoot
recent interior design work as featured on Lonny mag
i am so excited to share images from interior design work i completed earlier this year, but had to hold on out my sharing until Lonny did its’ feature last week. in case you missed it, here it is.
this space was completely empty when I began with the exception of a giant pool table in the center of the room. the goal was to bring soul + character into this newly-built home along with a handful of functions. the client loves all things rustic, collected, + with a story so it was so fun pulling this space together with alot of visits to local salvage yards, vintage stores + blend with some cleaner, more modern lines.
Hope you love the result!

design || mixed modern materials
i saw this post on dwell + was instantly in love. as you know, i have an adoration for minimal design + the use of mixed materials to bring in an organic look. this one takes the cake with white walls, concrete, stainless steel , natural light + the mix of warn cozy walnut -toned furnishings. what do you think? do you love this space as much as i do?
design || entertaining in a small space
i really love to entertain, having my friends all around, enjoy drinks + yummy bites – especially around the holidays. i wanted to share this shoot i did for style me pretty living
as i’ve said before, my home is not huge – it is roughly around 1500 square feet, so it can be tight quarters. i use every surface to place food + drinks, + mix + match serving ware. i especially love brunch, which i styled out here. you can even be creative with how you store your cutlery, aprons + platters. you can see above i have them hung on the wall as art – functional + creative.
i also wanted to make mention of this new brand that i am truly amazed with – madhouse collection. their plates, platters + plastic twigware were used in the above shoot. i always liked michael aram’s collection, + now he has come out with melamine + plastic options for entertaining. this stuff has blown me away – really! my personal fav – the sea urchin plates from the ocean collection.
special thanks to room & board for letting us shoot in their atlanta showroom. table, buffet, chairs + chandelier from room & board
