WHAT IS IT?
euAllegro Games Pack is a couple of games I have written while writting
euAllegro.

The first game is Dodgem and has appeared on the Euphoria contributions
page previously.
The second game is an Invaders cone.

I have decided to add them together as a pack to have 1 slightly larger
zip file containing two games rather than 2 quiet large zip files. Also
they really aren't meant to be full featured games, just what I call "demo
games" for euAllegro. They don't have some of the features of full games.
For instance you only have one life then your dead in both games, I never
got around to make the enemy fire in Invaders come from the enemy, they just
randomly appear from the sky.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
I have only tested this game on Win98 with DirectX 6.0 and 7.0.
It should work on any Win9X machines and possible NT that has
Direct X.
It is a little slow on my P120. My P166 at home is just as fast
as my PIII600 at work, so I "think" a P150 up will be ok.

ABOUT DODGEM.
I remember playing a game similar to Dodgem on a Micro Bee
computer at school when I was about 13 years old (thats
about 17 years ago now ... pretty scarey thought!)

It's a simple dodge the mushrooms as you control the car with
the left and right arrow keys. Escape stops the game.

ABOUT INVADERS.
Invaders is a game where .... arhhh comon you know ...
press enter to start, left and right arrows to move and the control key
to shot.

WHY DID I WRITE THESE GAMES?
I wrote these when I got bored of wrapping all the Allegro functions.
Also I have never really written many games before so I have to start
somewhere.
I think they are also good advertisment for what can be done
with euAllegro. They obviously aren't super exciting games but
they do show the basics of most 2D based games and how easy and quickly
they can be developed.
