Hi Fabs!
It appears Sky ended my Halloween posts, since Halloween was actually on a weekend for once.  While I am craving cooler weather autumn posts, it would be a crime if I didn’t tell you about this hunt at Oracle.

Foxy

I did have to be pretty careful to get a PG shot of this gorgeous outfit for the blog.  I picked all of it up at the Oracle Halloween Hunt.  It’s not expressly Halloween though, you can find both a bloody and non-bloody version of the kimono in this hunt.

There are 7 white kitsune masks to find in the store.  A lot of them are free and a few of them cost a few linden.  I believe the harness was 10L and the kimonos are 25L and all the rest are free.

There are short and tall okobo shoes included in this outfit but I wasn’t able to show them in my blog post due to my precarious pose.

You don’t need any group to do this hunt, but there is one caveat, the items are only rigged for Reborn/V-Tech/Waifu.

The hunt ends on November 5th, so make some time!

Manta ray days

So the other day Beachy had gone to Fallen Gods to see if the Fortune teller machine was up.  It was not.  She had given up hope, but 2 days later Howler IM’d her ‘Pssst the Fortune Teller is up at Fallen Gods’ and we all rejoiced.  Beachy won it fairly easily, but she really wanted me to blog it.  In another instance of how RL and SL mirror each other, I sat with SO MANY people and I couldn’t find a single match. 😦  I was there all day, but finally, I found my match.  I didn’t come home with a new girlfriend, but I did come home with this gorgeous fantasy avatar for free.

If you’ve played this before you’re familiar with how it works but I’ll explain it briefly if you’re new to this event.  Head on over to Fallen Gods and inside the store you’ll find a group of people standing around a fortune teller machine.  2 people have to sit down together and the machine will tell you if you’re a match or not.  If you get 100% match, each of you will come home with this full avatar for free!  If you’re not a match with someone, you won’t be a match with that person, so you’ll need to sit with someone else.  There are rules posted, like sit for 3 turns only and let other people try.  You kind of have to keep track of who you sat with and didn’t, which is the rough part, that and everyone sitting on top of each other at once. LOL  Fortunately everyone is super nice and patient and plays by the rules.

If you’re looking for a last-minute Halloween outfit, Le’La just released a new witchy group gift. It comes with a broom, hat, dress, and C-string, although the dress is long enough to cover your bits if you don’t want to wear the C-string (I know some of you are into that 😏). You will need to be a member of the group to claim the gift; however, the fee to join is L$100. I think the Le’La group is totally worth it though because of the amount of past gifts available, and they regularly put out new ones. The first time I visited them, I was a bit lost, so do remember that the room with the group gifts is located outside of the store. Now, hop on your broom (or borrow mine) and go get it!

Well, it looks like I went out for Devil’s night but the ones causing the mischief were these ghosts behind me.  No one expects a tree to fall on your car when you’re heading around Dead Man’s Curve, unless apparently, you’re racing on Halloween.

Yep, that’s me, no need to repeat it though. 😉   OK, so I did the Isle of Rowlyria Halloween Treasure Hunt this week and came home with a ton of great free prizes.  This is a fun hunt where you grab a hud and then find 9 Celtic shrines around the region.  Each one will deliver a notecard with a letter to the secret code word.  Once you’ve found all 9, you find the final boss statue and click it, and enter the 9 letter word.  The statue will disappear and you can TP into the prize room!  This is a unisex hunt, there are gifts for men and women, and you will need to join the Isle of Rowlyria group for free to play.  These are some of the prizes I brought home:

  • Free T-shirt by [GHB] (with BOM fishnet sleeves, sized for Jake and Legacy)
  • Free Gloves by Noble Creations (in grey and red, sized for Jake, Gianni, Legacy)
  • Free Traffic cone and face scars by Pariah (unisex, BOM for EvoX)

I have seen this traffic cone hat so many times I was so stoked to be able to bring it home.  Finally yesterday I learned this hunt will be up until November 10th, so you have some time yet!

Soooo, the Halloween Hunt at LEROY. From the image, there look to be some wonderful things, but the hunt image isn’t a complete key… yet!

I know there are a lot of hunts going on this month, so to save our readers some time and money, I grabbed every single item and numbered them so I could tell you what’s inside the pumpkins (and by me, I mean I made my friend buy them all, but same thing!).

Just to note, #11 and #12 (Audrey Dress) are gorgeous and sheer, and you really can’t see the detail from the picture. There is a demo in the store if you want to see what I mean, and since you all don’t need to see my bits, I am wearing #8 (which, incidentally, is my favorite number). It has a great texture too, so definitely get this one if you stop by the store.
