Toronto Fringe

The starting place of stories, creativity, risks, and dreams.

The Toronto Fringe is a grassroots, charitable organization that runs Ontario's largest performance festival, the Toronto Fringe Festival and various year-round programs that benefit youth, emerging artists, BIPOC artists, artists with disabilities, and the performing arts community at large.

Embedded in the Fringe's operations are the values of Access, Accountability, Creativity, Exploration, and Support. Learn more here.

What's Happening?

"I feel like Fringe is kind of the fastest and the best way to get an idea in front of a new audience that really wants to be inspired or surprised.” - Kat Sandler

We’re so excited to share our chat with Fringe icons Kat Sandler and Tom McGee about their first forays into the Fringe and how it kickstarted their careers. Before Kim’s was convenient, before there was Kink in our hair, and before Yaga stalked the woods, they all #StartedAtFringe. We support artists before they get their big breaks.

Toronto Fringe’s team works behind the scenes all year-long to support artists and create the infrastructure needed to support the next Kat or Tom. Donate now to help artists hone their craft, find their audience, and inspire the next generation of emerging Canadian creatives!
