With age comes wisdom. And grief, in many forms. Someday we will heal from that day, even it’s not until we walk into Glory ourselves. But we will heal.
Today’s words of wisdom are basically a cut and paste from last year’s post.
Someday, hopefully soon, I’ll begin to get caught up, I promise. Everything is still on me. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s NOT a train.
Here is the annual remembrance, and most of all, remember to pray without ceasing.

If you’d like to read previous remembrances of 9/11, just follow the Never Forget link in the Categories. That should get you there.
Today is much like that fateful day 25 years ago. Beautiful clear sky, just the very whisper of autumn’s beginning in the air. (Here in the South, that means the oppressive heat is running about 90% of its usual ‘suck the soul right outta you’ strength.)
As you go through today, think about all that was lost. The people, the relationships, the knowledge, the trust, the respect between nations and people, and for some, even their faith. We live in a far different world than we did 25 years ago.
Reflect. Pray. And remember Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
