Want To Sell - UPDATED

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Mon, 25 Aug 2014 16:17:00 +0000

I have lots of items to sell off ever since stopping the business and if you are keen to buy them, please email to :- likeigloo@gmail.com

ps. COD in KL/PJ/AMPANG areas only

JIFFY Steamer J2000M

SOLD

Condition : Bought this ever since the cheap steamer I bought from jusco (those panasonic type) broke down easily only using it for a few times!! So decided to invest in a better one and this Jiffy steamer literary save my life, and it's a really really really good steamer! Too bad I need to let it go since won't be needing to steam the clothes anymore. Condition: well it's still really in good condition cause I bought it just months before the "hardly update" my clothes season anymore meaning I barely use it ever since. More details of this steamer click here

Tagging Guns & Bullets

SOLD

I have no idea what to call them in a right way but yeah, I don't need these anymore. What are these? I used them to tag pricing labels for all the clothes and it's quite easy to use. For these I can deliver by Pos Laju (fees bear by buyer) cause I don't see why I need to drive out to COD unless you wanna come collect it directly from my house haha. Gun condition - working absolutely fine.

Metal Racks, Wooden Clip Hangers, Plastic Hangers

What a good memory when I used to attend bazaars and using all these. I could sell them separately but it would be awesome that someone could just get them all in a go. I now have 2 racks left, some look pretty rusted but still can be used, I remembered each rack cost about RM80 when I first bought it so I'm selling pretty cheap here. And for the black plastic hangers, I think I have them near to 30 dozens or less, and also having maybe 12 dozens of the wooden clip hangers too. For these I could only COD somewhere in KL or PJ, or directly collect from my house cause these stuffs can easily weight a lot and don't think you wanna spend more on delivery charges as well.

2 Metal Racks - RM50 or RM30 for 1

Black Plastic Hangers - 12 dozens RM28

Wooden Clip Hangers - 5 pcs RM8

Canon 600D + 18-55 Lens

SOLD

This is the camera that got me into photography :) Well I'm selling it because I already bought another camera earlier this year, and I don't really use this anymore. I used this camera for all Igloo's photo-shoots as well as videography. So far it is still working fine and I also took it for servicing few months ago. Currently around 50k shutter count, and w/o warranty. Anyone keen to buy can actually test it first before deciding. Really hope my baby can find a new and nice owner :)

Canon 5D Mark II

SOLD

I realise I have been upgrading my gear continuously for the past few years, I bought a 600d and sold my Olympus pen, then buying a Mark2 and sold the 600d and now I just got another camera and wanted to sell this Mark2! I love how the flow goes haha. So yeah, this M2 don't have any warranty anymore but still working fine. I been using it for every jobs and projects i did, together with the prime lens below. The shutter count is 61k. Very high I KNOW cause I am a very heavy user. 4K is my selling price but pls email me and let me know your budget aright! I'll consider if it's not too low. It comes with the standard package, an original canon battery, original M2 strap, charger, cds, booklet, cables and the box. No memory card. The body has a little scratch marks but you can always check and test it when COD. Willing to meet around KL/CHERAS/PJ/AMPANG areas only. Postage fee bear by buyer.

SIGMA 50MM 1.4 for CANON

SOLD

This will be my favourite prime lens of all times. I remembered I first bought the prime canon cheaper 1.8 version but quickly switched to this sigma ones when I got the funds just because of the higher aperture. I got hooked for primes ever since and it's super! Prime is definitely the god for me cause I love how bright it can capture once you know the techniques. Anyway, I have already got another prime lens now so I am now letting go this one! The warranty is still valid until 1/1/2015, working fine and comes with normal package - hood, warranty card, zip bag and box and a filter too! Email me your budget price and I'll consider. COD at the same places I mentioned above.

Closing Down SALE UP TO 80%

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Tue, 01 Jul 2014 06:34:00 +0000

Hello ladies.

This is going to be our last and final announcement from www.likeigloo.com

It is with mixed emotions that I must inform you all that I have made the difficult choice of closing my online store and deciding to continue my journey in the photography field. For the past 3 years, I have learned alot to maintain this online store alone, from learning to use the camera to shoot, travel to the overseas alone to buy stocks in, attending bazaars, packing every parcels with my bare hands and deliver to every customers on time, and not to forget I also replied all your emails personally :) In here I would like to thank the models that don't mind being in front of my camera all day with me, my friends & family that being very supportive and of course to every customers that came back so often and made this store happened, without you all, I will not become the way I am today. I also made friends with some customers and still in touch :)

So here it is, the final SALE. They are all in half priced and even more up to 80% because I just couldn't keep them here anymore and I am not even earning! This website is going to be gone by 18th July so I will be greatful if you could share this news around with your friends and family. Thank you so much!

Lastly, if you like to know my whereabouts and life, please follow me on my website www.hellojanelee.com or Instagram id @janethecrazy

Thank you and happy shopping once again.

Tomorrow it is.

Behind The Scene and Some Personal Updates

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Mon, 19 Aug 2013 05:15:00 +0000

I am truly sorry about the lack of updates, things been happening a lot lately! With the massive travelling on and off, then the preparation of my wedding, photoshoot etc, and plus I kinda get lazy... It's really bad I know and I am trying to making it back right now :p

These photos taken sometime back during an outing shoot..

Love this top but sold out already.

Let me just clarify first that I don't really know much about photography before this so the photos aren't going to be perfect hehe. I learn alot while handling the shoot alone and after going through lots of dummies tutorials from youtube and I can say I'm pretty amazed for what I did :)

Look, models post perfectly but I hated the dustbin so had to crop it out lol.

Carol said she is hungry at the halfway the shoot and ate biscuits haha.

The car I couldn't live without. Always filled with stocks and also a model changing room, can you see the green cloth hanging out of the screen window on the left? It was so hot that day btw!

Love this dress it's so summerish! Still have em in stock for both colors. Let me know if you want them :)

Taking the bts photos is always amazing cause this is what really happened for every shoot haha so funny :p

Shin was the 'assistant' of the day.

If you don't know, Likeigloo is handled by me myself all alone, and it's not easy. Maintaining the website with zero html knowledge, all the social media updates, traveling alone to overseas for stocks buying, stock counting qc checking, attending bazaars, and all the photography related stuffs from planning shooting editing, handling the marketing sales announcement, packing every parcels and doing the pos laju delivery, checking emails constantly and attending Facebook queries etc etc.. basically just everything! Yeap, sometimes I felt as if I'm a superwomen some sort but then it made me feeling so tired of thinking and almost want to give up.. On a second thought, I should be thankful for having the best job in the world cause I was the one who started it and couldn't complain much! Nothing comes easy, right?

And here's another bts video I did using another camera on a tripod, sorry about the low quality produced hehe. Poor Elaine came to model for me on that hazy day and she wasn't feeling too well. I think she's having a running nose which is why she kept on rubbing her eyes and nose in this video. Thank you so much for your effort elaine!

Then, one of the cream dress got featured in ntv7!

2nd outfit worn on Karen 龚柯允 : Dream Lace Crochet Dress from Likeigloo.com

You can buy the dress online(link above) or buy from Bazarro KL.

We recently did a photo-shoot with Diana for our latest collection. If you have not heard of her, she is a fashion blogger from http://callmediiiyn.blogspot.com

So here are some lookbook photos I've created but don't dare to release it until today (been thinking bout it for such a long time) cause I'm such a newbie in photography/photoshop errr.... Anyway, I'm looking on a bright side so.. here goes!

THANK YOU! Markets @ Jayaone 8

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Tue, 11 Dec 2012 18:40:00 +0000

Here's a big shout out to everyone who came to our little store last Saturday at Markets (Jayaone), THANK YOU!! So sorry although we did a whole clearance sale but we did not bring much stocks over because we thought it was going to rain!! (I checked the weather forecast a day before, it says it'll gonna rain at PJ the whole day wtf and it did not even rain haihhh @_@) Anyway, luckily Shin & Elaine came to help out (Thank you girls!) Everything turned out so well and I am also very happy to meet everyone personally :)

All pix below are taken by Elaine's Samsung phone.

Our very, very one of a kind retro shades! Good quality & great workmanship too. So sorry that they're not available to purchase from our website, but if you're keen, you can write to us at admin@likeigloo.com

(Their price ranging from RM99 - RM129)

There's this really nice looking guy came to our store to check out the shades and I just briefly intro him which is nice on him etc etc la and then he left. I kinda sense he is keen on getting the shades (maybe only) and he really came back! Instead of getting one, he bought 2 shades!! Thank you if you are reading this and you certainly got taste on choosing that particular 2 shades haha :p

I think this picture was taken early morning before the crowd came in.

Me with the RM28 signboard lol.

Well here's a good news! To those who did not came that day and miss the chance to grab our super dirt cheap/affordable clearance sale offer, don't worry! CAUSE WE'LL BE DOING A HUGE MASSIVE SALE AGAIN, ONLINE.

Hehe. Will be announcing soon, LIKE VERY SOON.

Watch this space :)

Good news is that we have recently moved to a new place - Bazarro.KL! And the sad news is that we're no longer at Makeover, Jayaone as we have already ended our contract over there :(

*above pic stolen from bazarro.kl facebook acc :p

*Sigh* I know. It's our signage and how can I snapped a blurred shot?! I'm sorry :x

Our rack is the first and right next to the mannequins, you will see it at your right once you come up from the stairs :)

I absolutely love the place, I don't know why..... :p well maybe just let these pictures speaks for themselves.

Funky colourful necklaces pricing above RM40. Not sure about the tote bags though.

Our rack in black & white, very artistic like that lol :p

Chiyo! Mad love their shoes!

I absolutely felt for this unique pair from Chiyo but I don't think my precious gigantic feet will want to be in them :{

And that's me, always hiding behind the camera & taking pix of myself in front of a mirror :p

Our exclusive rack lol

Oh, we will be changing our rack in weekly basis so do drop-by to checkout whenever you are free! However, not everything that you see on our website will be available in Bazarro KL (u see our rack so small ar cannot put so many designs leh) Anyhow, if there's anything you like to know or just to check/reserve, please email to us in advance (admin@likeigloo.com) and then we'll see what we can do best for you! :) We will also be updating our Facebook and Twitter whenever we have changed our rack so please follow us closely to stay updated! =)

BTS - Atas grass wall?

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Wed, 24 Oct 2012 15:41:00 +0000

So, we did another photo-shoot session again last week but it was a little different this time compared to the previous outings. I randomly found this "atas" place with pretty grass wall quite some time back and thought it would be perfect for a shooting! Invited a friend, Shin to join us, also to help us to hold the reflector under the hot sun (poor Shin haha) and to jaga our stuffs in case we walked too far from the shooting venue.

Shin took this picture of us with her phone, haha look at my awkward frog pose! I think because Wengli is standing higher than the grass wall behind (i'm not sure what it's called so just grass wall la, correct me if you know what it is) so I asked her to bend down a little lol. She's 170cm height (so tall right!!) and she's only wearing flats omg so jealous :c

Wengli is extremely playful and I have lots more really weird funny looking pictures of her which i did not post on the site (i hope she wont kill me by just posting these up :x) She's wearing Frou Bou Opensleeves Blouse, isn't it gorgeous? Not to mention the quality is superbbbb and very versatile so it's definitely worth it if you wanna get this! Seriously!

What so different about this shooting is that we don't have a fitting room nor toilet anywhere this time so Wengli have to just change inside the car directly. All of us work together really fast whenever it's time for the her to change to another outfit, like using reflector/big cloths to cover up the whole car so that nobody could peep her when she's changing! Appreciate the teamwork ladies, tq! But then I think it's because everyone can't wait to get the job done and leave a.s.a.p also LOL

I took this video and she thought I was taking a picture of her instead lol

I purposely changed it to high pitched cartoon voice hehe

We drove down to KL for another spot and it was so hot! But thankfully it did not rain :) It was extremely hot that day that every time after an outfit shot, we all just quickly ran inside the car to hide because got air-cond haha. After cooling down then we hop out from the car again and continue shooting lol like so adventurous only :p

From "atas" grass wall then now shoot beside the longkang/drain, so not atas at all so sorry LOL but I love the white wall la :p

Oh the dress she's wearing we have only 2pcs left for now. Faster grab it if you want :)

That's about it! We finished about noon time right before the heat really starting to melt us and end the day with a filling meal at Palate Palette. Every photo session is a great experience and i'm looking forward for a next one coming soon!

And this is the video, hope you like it!

Let us know if you want to see another kind of video like an interview session with Wengli or a makeup tutorial..what do you think? or any suggestion? Love to hear from you guys! Just leave a comment or formspring us la kthanksbye!

Behind the scenes & preview (coffee famille)

noreply@blogger.com (Like iGloo) — Wed, 10 Oct 2012 02:00:00 +0000

Here's some of the BTS (behind the scenes) shots we did for the upcoming collection with the girls over last week at cafe Coffee Famille. We get to know this place by a friend (tq!) and thank god the owner let us do our shooting over there! Thank you so much if you read this! :D

This cafe is quite unique in a way and the first thing i stepped in is the strong coffee aroma. Our friend told us must try the coffee there and looking at their menu, they have all kinds of coffees.. So if you're a coffee lover, do check out the place! I personally love the deco there, great to chill or just invite some friends to hangout. Not to mention the cafe is very easy to find as well (just opposite Giza)

So we had a little fun over there and I had to say doing the shoot alone with the girls is not easy -_- For a moment I had to tell them what to wear, what to style, then I have to direct them with the posing to shoot right away, run here and run there doing this and that lol. So coincidence that the place was crowded with customers on that day, so we have a limited space to shoot -_- It is kind of challenging as well but end up fun too! =D

Anyhow, I have learned my lesson well for the shooting is - must prepared well for the shoot and must be "thick skin" while shooting even though there are so many random people watching at us lol.

And here's the video preview we shot for the collection, which will be launch on this Friday 11am. Everything is quite limited so have to be quick to order haha. Sorry, video quality not really nice hehehe I am still learning on it :p

Oh I have also open a formspring account recently, ask me anything! But please don't ask me anything weird lol. Here's the link! http://www.formspring.me/likeigloo
