Yes, the Magnolia Route is BACK with a new locale and time frame! After months of thought, consideration and research, I have decided to abandon the concept of the C&OV railroad entirely and return to my true love and passion, the Mississippi Alabama & Gulf. I will provide more details over the next few weeks, but, in a nutshell, the layout now depicts a section of the Cumberland Division which runs from Chattanooga, Tennessee to the fictional town of Cumberland, Tennessee in the late 1960's. Staging yards will represent connections with the L&N, Southern, and Clinchfield. Thankfully, other than replacing some fascia signage, none of the re-theming changes will require any reconstruction of the physical layout. Second generation diesel power will dominate the roster sporting an updated paint scheme, with several "legacy" workhorses making appearances as well.

Updating the website is a work in progress. As a result, there are still a few photos that include fascia signs, control panels and other print media that have yet to be corrected or replaced. I encourage you to check back often for updates, additions, and other improvements. You will find that the pages for my former Mississippi Alabama and Gulf layout are now found under "The New Orleans Division" tab.

The MA&G is my legacy in the hobby, so I am so excited to rekindle and continue my journey with the Magnolia Route for many years to come. Thank you for your interest and patronage. It's great to have you along for the ride!
