Oh My Days! New Release @ GGVG

A few weeks ago I had used my gift card from the shop & hop event at GGVG. I blogged the outfit I bought and part of it was a dead lovely furry jacket. Just the right length for wearing with so much of my Autumn & Winter wardrobe. So I dropped a thank you notecard to the designer looseer and asked if she was thinking of making the jacket in other colours.

This morning I was sent a package “thank you for the suggestion” and its a fat pack of the jacket!!! I am SO excited to share it with you. I also noticed that the jacket is named after me *faints* that’s so lovely.

Fits shown above along with the colours you get included in the pack – twenty one shades! All this for just 199L – that’s a steal. Of course I got it on straight away – and pulled a few poses.

I really love wearing furry jackets but often find they look too bulky when they are longer – this is the perfect length. Works with skirts and pants effortlessly. Head over and check it out, free demo to try on.

I’m Boring, and I know it.

One of my friends, Shi, IM’d me about this new Aurora Viewer, which looks like a dream for anyone who wants to capture their SL life in photos, either for personal use or for blogs.

Ignore this blurry photo; it’s not an example lol. I had to copy it from the YouTube tutorial, as I just needed something eye-catching for this post, so I pinched this, but if this image of those boobies doesn’t get you to follow the link to the YouTube video, then nothing will.

I say “photographers dream,” but actually, if you read all the blurb on the Aurora Viewer link, you will see it’s as much to give inworld players much more control over their windlight, etc.

My photos in SL are ok, and I’m ok with that, in that I think you can see the clothing/items/landscaping more as they would look to you in SL, but even I know my photos are, on the whole, boring. Would I like them to look better? Of course, but between my gaming laptop getting old and cranky and lack of SL time, I am limited; this new viewer might just make it easier/quicker to make them look better, so I will keep a beady eye on this viewer, and when I update back to a PC, I might just give it a try.

I haven’t really done any of the many events that have been going on in SL this past month; TBH, they’re a bit overwhelming. When you try to keep your SLing time to a reasonable amount, it’s hard to know which one to do, and then I spotted this one called the “Momiji Yoko-Cho” Autumn Festival event, and it’s only just started.

I do love these smaller events that don’t have many of the bigger named shops, as it’s a way of discovering new shops, and I will be doing that later once I settle down to unpack and work my way through all the gifties.

As usual, the gifts do seem to be wearables; there are some boots and, in the shop itself, a very pretty pair of earrings. This cute hat/scarf was literally the first thing I unpacked, and I decided I’d go with it.

I do wish these stalls had the shop LM’s on them, as I did have to grab all the gifts just so later on today I could get the LM’s and visit the shops.

PS, I’ve forgotten the name of the large shop there. I do know I’ve blogged the gifts from there, and they are showing their age; however, I spotted a very pretty earring set, and of course everything else may be new to you.

Persistence Pays…50Ld Noble Creations Wanderlust 50Lds Offer.

FINALLY, I got my Legacy Claws on a gown I have wanted for so long, because I knew I wouldn’t wear it often enough to justify paying full price. I’ve waited and waited and WAITED, and now it’s a 50Ld weekend offer, and you can bet your cute AV ass I grabbed it.

Let me explain why I’m using this photo: I really do not have the time to show it to you on me. I may update this post with me wearing this gown tomorrow, and I know that 90% of the “Weekend Offers” go on all week; but you never know if this will be one of those, and it’s not a case of “here today and gone tomorrow.” Since I’d hate for people to miss this, I’m going with this.

Now for a couple of “Pay Attentions” as this gown is not where it normally is and has been moved into the clothing department of the shop, so just go straight ahead and through the doors.

The second “Pay Attention” is that among the Noble Creations is a TeleportHub(10Lds) gift of wearable snakes. Well worth getting, especially if you have something planned for tonight.

I’m Hiding Something. (Free “full” outfit).

I saw this gift from the B.sassy shop weeks ago, so there’s a good chance you have seen it already, but for those who haven’t, here it is.

Can you see what “I’m hiding”? Its the teeny tiny trotters.

This is a fab gift, but it comes linked, so you get the bandeau top, jeans, and sneakers all in one. To get that neat fit around the waist, I had to suck it up and wear the Legacy Perky fit and just hide the feet. I will also say that because the bottom of the jeans is baggy, you don’t really see how small they are.

The fits are: Erika, Kupra, LaraX/Petite, Legacy/Bombshell/Perky, Maitreya/Petite & Reborn/Waifu.

Let me make it clear, though: there is nothing wrong with the “teeny tiny trotters”; they are just something that I personally don’t care for, and that’s why in the Legacy Packs you also get the “foot deformer” as standard; you simply add this much more natural foot fit.

I didn’t spend much time in the B.sassy shop, and I just grabbed this and ran, so make sure to check out the whole shop; maybe buy something you like, or there may even be more goodies.

The freebie is just the outfit.

The Madame Noir shop just keeps on giving us gifts of quality and uniqueness. Believe it or not, this OTT outfit is referred to as “Pantsuit”…I think it’s a bit more than a pantsuit lol.

Sorry, totally forgot to count how many super metallic shades you get in the HUD. You do get many, from glossy black to this glossy pink.

I’m not going to list the fits as I don’t want to put anyone off going to the shop thinking it’s not worth their time if their body fit isn’t included. There are now so many gifts in the Madame Noir shop that you WILL find something as stunning as this to wear.

Now for a PAY ATTENTION as it seems a long time since I have been able to do one, when you TP in just walk straight ahead, there is a TP close by though if you want to use that, and when you walk into the shop the gifts have been split up so turn right and there are gifts and turn left there are more gifts. These second gifts look to be mainly shoes; however, you will see there is an outfit on the wall next to it…as always, so easy to find when you know what to look for.

Special mention to the hair, as I was trying to find a unique hair to go with this outfit, and I found this one I’d totally forgotten about. I’d probably bought it from the No.Match shop when it was a discounted/weekend sale, or maybe even paid full price, as it was tucked into a folder with a Marie Antoinette gown, and I do that occasionally like to put matching full outfits into a single folder for ease of getting a whole look together. Got to admit though the actual gown is showing its age so maybe time to trash that.

I have “All the gifts”.

The gift is only the skin, but read on to the end for info on the other gifts.

It’s rare for me to show you a free skin because it won’t look the same on you; it might look nasty, just ok, or stunning, and I think this skin will look stunning on everyone.

IT’S SOOOO PRETTY!!!!

As you can see, it’s a young, almost doll-like but not childish. A lovely, neat nose, shaped lips, and bright, fresh colour.

It comes with EvoX and Genus skins, also 5 shades, with or without brows; I’m wearing my own. You also get some lipstick, blush, etc. Not going to lie, not all the shades suited me, but that’s the same for all the skins I have. I generally stick to a pale shade which matches my RL pale, sun-deprived North of England skin lol.

The whole shop is packed with similar pretty skins which aren’t badly priced for quality skins, I think around 799Ld, but I could be wrong; this is a great way to snag a super skin for free.

The other gifts are a mix of make up ie lipsticks/eye shadows, I think I saw some tattoos. As usual, I’m looking forward to just sitting somewhere and unpacking through my haul.
