Were the hints strong enough last night (June 18) with the track from Workfriend? Trans artist, and mentioning that both the station and show are obviously LGBT+ friendly including transgender, and I’d be a hypocrite if that wasn’t the case?

Surprise (to some but by no means all at this stage). After too many decades of denial and worse, let it be known that I am also trans and am now actually doing something about it, with valuable assistance from friends and adopted family. Not a whim but a necessity.

Obviously, it makes no difference to the show or the wonderful music played thereon. It just means the person playing it and talking about it is being actually true to themselves for the first time.

Anyone not on board with it can easily find other entertainment alternatives, I’m sure. Thanks for listening, as they say.
