Azimut is a tournament where the students in the 92 meet for an orienteering race. Azimut is in a forest in the Paris area.

We went there by bus with Mr Figues and Mr Lecossec, our teachers.

We went to  a part called the Hara de Jardy. It was a 4-km race. It was long, but we found a lot of control points. It was fantastic !

At lunchtime, we ate a picnic next to beautiful horses. There was a lot of mud...

Orienteering race is a type of race . The contestants have a map and a piece of paper with the numbers of the control points,and they look for the control points . The race takes place in a forest, the contestants are gathered in teams.

There are five persons in a team .Then, the teams look at the map and go looking for the control points . When you find the control points you must punch a box under the number of the control point to prove you have found it.

Buthiers is a sports center in the fontaineblau forest. We went there for a field trip on the 11 and12 october.

We practiced moutainbike , Bike and run in the forest.

We also practiced archery with our teachers. On the first day, for two hours, the first team went climbing and the second team tried blowpiping.

Archery is an individual sport. You need a bow and some arrows. You shoot on a target: you have to shoot in the middle of it if you want to win. It is very funny.

To succeed in archery, you need concentration, precision, and caution. 

The archery sessions took place in the gymnasium at school with two teachers: Mr,Meyer and Mr,Figues.

In our class there are 30 students . There are 19 boys and 11 girls . We're a casual class but we are motivated because we want to win .

It's a class project !

For the “Trophée Aventure“ we train in lots of disciplines : archery , mountain-bike , climbing , bike and run, orienteering race ...

Our sports teacher is very good and helpful ; and our Spanish teacher too (he is our form teacher).

Just a Little Story : once, Romain threw an arrow on Paul ! It was very bad !(Well, so the story goes...)

Time for a Picninc

Mountain Bike is a sport. It's very physical because you ride bikes on hostile paths.

First we went mountain biking in Buthiers on Monday October 11^th (it's in the forest in the Hauts de Seine). . We slept over one night .We stayed for 2 days (but on the Tuesday we couldn't train because there was snow, so it was dangerous).

We went to Buthiers with Mr. Figues, Mr. Meyer, Mr. Mehu and Mr. Debout and we rode our bikes with Mr. Debout: it was funny .
