The trial of Lindsey Clancy is ongoing and we are going to see either a verdict or a mistrial very soon. If a verdict, there could be an appeal. This case is making headlines because it is incredibly horrific. But there are a few things that are bothering me about this trial that I am going to say very publicly.
The first is the way in which the state’s experts are blatantly lying, bending evidence to suit them, and pretending that the psychiatrists and medical professionals in this case are without fault.
I’m looking at both sides of this case and seeing a lot of problems coming from one particular side.
First of all, this case makes me want to write a book when it is all over. I haven’t been privileged to see all of the evidence since I do have a day job, but what I have seen has had me siding with her attorney, Kevin Reddington, throughout the trial.
Based purely on the medications she was on, and the adverse reactions she was having, there is a zero percent chance that Lindsey Clancy was in her right mind and criminally responsible for anything. The theory that she is a selfish woman faking mental illness as an excuse to kill her children would completely fall apart in the minds of the audience to this drama, if it weren’t for the level of education of the general public when it comes to the law. But you shouldn’t have to go to law school, give birth, or experience drug-induced psychosis to understand basic things like, that most women don’t murder their kids and try to cover up their motives by taking 32 prescription drugs and permanently paralyzing themselves.
It was not a faked suicide attempt. It was either a real one, or it was an attempted murder. If suicide, I hold the doctors responsible for every move of her hands. They knew what they were doing, or had every reason to know when prescribing 32 different medications in a 4 month time frame.
Today I noticed something odd. The psychiatrist testifying in the state’s rebuttal case stated that Lindsey Clancy woke up in the hospital remembering nothing, and had to be informed of the events that took place. Clancy then gave him a detailed account of her “memory” of events, which had later mysteriously resurfaced after the series of events was retold to her, including her falsely claiming that she actually cut the window screen to jump out, as well as not describing anything about crushing up any pills.
It seems that the expert could not get Lindsey to say she crushed them up no matter how hard he prompted her to recall the way in which he thinks she gave herself an overdose.
I found it nothing less than shocking that the state waited 3 years to interview her with an expert, while the defense had their expert interview her within months. Not only that, but they expect her exact wording to never change throughout three whole years and numerous hours retelling the alleged memories to many different people. Lindsey Clancy wasn’t following a script – she was allegedly retelling events. When a person is truth-telling, they don’t use the exact same words each time. An “inconsistency” isn’t that – if you’re only talking about minor differences in the story. You can’t expect someone who has been through a severe trauma to stick to exact wording.
In the law there is the concept of people having their stories identical between them when someone has collaborated on a crime. Exactly identical wording between co-conspirators is a sign they’re sticking to the official story that they made up together. When two witnesses have slight differences between them, it’s a sign they are telling the truth. I find it funny that they expect her to hold to a level of perfection in exact wording over a three year period, when any normal person would forget or slightly change the way they retell events over time due to the passage of time, the fact that we are not robots, etc. Not to mention, she’s on a lot of medications, and those alone would potentially alter memories.
Watching her in court is absolutely devastating and heartbreaking. She will spend the rest of her life in a prison of that wheelchair regardless of what the outcome of this trial may be.
Why was the psychiatrist stating that Patrick Clancy mentioned that they do not keep lemonade around the house normally? Yet Lindsey didn’t mention anything about crushing pills?
In my educated opinion, giving extra details that don’t matter is usually a sign of deception. Like seriously, so what Patrick? You’re hyper-fixated on lemonade? You wanted to make sure in advance to claim that you guys never buy lemonade, to make the overdose completely not your fault, when nobody at that time was implying that it was. Do you not have other liquids in your house, why are you claiming lemonade isn’t a thing?
In my opinion, this may be a “tell” and his statement claiming lemonade is never in their home might be used to tip off investigators and help them detect “someone” who is hiding information. Whenever I have been on the stand in trial (which was a few too many times to be honest) I have always taken the approach of answering the question in a straightforward way, and not letting my tendency to ramble get the better of me. When you are a witness in a trial, every word you say, and every facial expression you make is going to be analyzed by someone. So it’s best to just answer in as few words as you can, if it’s a highly contentious trial and you have something to lose.
We know that Lindsey didn’t cut a window screen. So why is she saying she did? The state is hyper-focused on things they think Lindsey held back or did not say to those interviewing her over the course of the past three years, but why haven’t they considered the possibility that her memories are not real at all, but her mind has recreated them after the fact where there was just a blank slate? How could she keep her symptoms and versions of the truth straight if she doesn’t remember anything at all, and her memories were actually false? As if psychotic people don’t make up events, make up memories of events, or fill in the blanks trying to compensate in the aftermath of trauma.
Another major flaw in their case – the state believes falsely and is having their lying experts claim, that you can’t be suffering from the adverse effect of a medication, a side effect, or anything resembling psychosis without a level of medication that could kill you from an overdose. This is the world’s stupidest claim, and I can’t wait to watch Kevin Reddington dismantle it tomorrow.
Psychosis is a potential side effect of every psychiatric drug and can be seen at any and every dose, not just a toxic level. The package inserts do not state that you must first OD before experiencing psychosis. If that were true, how could anyone ever live to tell about their psychosis? I’m a living testament to the fact that a mere 50 mg of Zoloft caused me to see a visual hallucination. And 100, and 150 mg caused much worse intrusive thoughts than 50 mg. I called this psychosis. Now, maybe a forensic psychiatrist would claim that I wasn’t in a psychosis in 2004, but who really cares what these $50k per trial wackos think? If this is what they think, they’re not experts. They’re paid liars.
This pseudoscience is nothing more than an industry thriving on payments for highly educated / intdoctrinated opinions, and the sales of mind altering substances to the general population. While I am thankful that some people feel better when they go get help from their doctor, what most people never do is that they never ask, what is the ultimate cost? If you get to feel slightly better from a placebo effect, or maybe you feel better with a level of serotonin in your brain beyond what should be there, but someone else has to die for you to have access to that medication, what was the point?
The Clancy kids are dead. They will never get to live their lives in this world. Their eternities are fixed now, and the potential for who they could have become, how they could have loved, and their very right to exist was stolen by an evil industry. The Bible says that the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. And the psychiatric profession has made itself enemy number one.
As more evidence comes out and gets refined by cross, I’m going to post more. But for now, I leave you with these questions:
Whose DNA was found on the murder weapons, and were there any fingerprints on the handle of the knife upstairs? (Hint – Lindsey’s fingerprints were not on the murder weapons, and none of Lindsey’s DNA is confirmed to be on the two of the three bands (for the male kids) with the third “questionable”. I will have to re-listen to the testimony on the third band. They claim they couldn’t tell if her DNA was on the third band due to familial mixing, but the first two only had male DNA on them.) How does one commit suicide by slicing open their throat or wrists without getting fingerprints on that knife? Was she wearing gloves? If so, where did they go? Did she stop during her psychotic state to worry about fingerprints while trying to unalive herself? Why would someone intending to kill themselves be worried someone might think they were the person who did it and subsequently be trying to conceal their own fingerprints? Can you please make THAT make a bit of sense for me?
How did Lindsey Clancy get soaking wet? If she was outside for just a few minutes? Did someone hose her down with the hose on the back of the house, which is shown still attached to the spigot in the dead of winter, in the evidence and crime scene photos? Would that have caused her body temp to drop to 82?
Why did Patrick Clancy waver regarding the 5:24 email sent from his computer? He said it could have been his iPhone, but if he was actually gone at 5:24, you’d think he would have said, “No, not my computer, but definitely from my iPhone.”
Why wasn’t Patrick Clancy performing CPR on any of his kids when the EMTs went downstairs, but instead was just sitting on the couch? Yet he claimed on the stand that he did do CPR?
Why is Patrick Clancy’s new wife Lindsey Clancy’s ultimate doppelganger?
Who did Patrick Clancy book a massage for on December 2, 2022, if it wasn’t for Lindsey, but the prosecutor assumed this happened?
What did the medical examiner rule as the times of death for the kids, and what time did Callan die before being revived? If the neighbor saw Lindsey outside at 5:50 PM, and Callan was revived at 6:40 PM, what time did he die the first time? Finally, what was the basis for the times of death? Was it based on Patrick’s version of the timeline or something more?
How did Lindsey Clancy talk to Patrick after he found her, but she couldn’t talk to the EMTs?
