My friends, I am sorry for taking a little hiatus. I promise that it wasn’t planned, things just happen. Work happens, life happens, curve balls get in the way. You know what I mean.
So what have I been doing for the past two weeks or so? Well, nothing that will knock your socks off.
There has been a lot of pondering about life, work and what I want to do. I won’t get into the details, but the last few weeks have been tough. Although, when times get tough, you only get stronger from it. Today, I am stronger than I was yesterday and the day before.
Stronger mentally, physically and emotionally.
Over the past few weeks, I decided to go back to Flywheel to visit my Flywheel family (and get in a amaze-balls workout) and I tried a new workout at Sweat Equity Gym in Bellevue.
Sweat Equity has classes for people at all fitness levels. If you are looking to lose weight, tone or build muscle mass, Sweat Equity will get you there.
I’m not a hard core weight lifter at all, but I wanted to try something new that would definitely push me. Boy, did it push me. I was sweating buckets by the end of my first hour long class. One word, Hooked! Bring on the deadlifts, squats, row machines, etc.
I’m sorry body, but I’m really not. If it doesn’t burn, then you aren’t working hard enough. POW!
Adding something new and old into my life definitely helps when times get tough. I can zone out and focus on what matters.
On another note, I am going to Portland this weekend with my family to visit my step brothers. I am way too EXCITED. EKKK! I’ve never been before and I’ve only heard good things. Microbreweries, voodoo donuts, more microbreweries, people watching, etc. Sign me up! I hope I make it. Just kidding.
Well, I am glad to be back. Have a great Friday and weekend!
XO, Tara
See what I am up too on: Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!

Happy Friday!! Glad to hear from ya!! You’re amazing and wonderful!! Have the best weekend!! XOXO!!
Thank you!! You are sooo sweet!! 😀
You are going to LOVE Portland!!! I recommend NW 23rd as an area for everything (much cozier than the Pearl district): Lompoc Tavern, Huckleberry Pub, Salt’n’straw ice cream is to DIE for, and St Honore Bakery at Truman and NW 23rd. Plus there’s an actual Prana store on the same street… Have fun!
And if it’s sunny maybe you have time for the Japanese Garden and/or the Rose Garden.
Ahhh THANK YOU for all of the awesome recommendations! I will investigate them now and add them to my never ending list.
AH blogging totally takes a back seat for me when life gets crazy. Glad you’re still alive despite some tough days. Hang in there, and eat a crap ton of VooDoo Donuts for me, I am SO JEALOUS!
What kind of donut do you want? I can fedex it to you asap!
