An Enneagram Achiever’s Identity Crisis

When I started my role at my current company last year, it was as a special projects director for our revenue operations technology team – basically, the liaison between business and tech. One of the areas I leaned into heavily was AI, figuring out how we decide what capabilities to automate and how (via third party technology), and also helping all our employees learn how to use generative AI tools themselves. After getting really passionate about that work, I was offered the opportunity to lead our training and development team, broadening its scope and adding capabilities to focus on workforce […]

Our First Anniversary (Didn’t Go According To Plan)

Last weekend, Mike and I hit our one year anniversary! With how ridiculously quickly we got engaged, I feel like some people probably thought we wouldn’t even make it this far 😂 But far from the honeymoon phase being over, we have somehow fallen even more in love with each other than ever before. I have always said that my goal in life is to make each day better than the last, and while there have certainly been rough days here and there, I think on the whole, that’s been true of our relationship – it just keeps getting better

Last week, I read Jack Raines’ latest Young Money post, Audience Capture and Short-Form Slop. Jack writes about how social media has changed from a place where anyone could build an audience by being genuine about their experience, into an algorithmic battleground crowded with AI-generated content, professional creators, and endless clips. I started on

72 Hours in Boise

I’m writing this in flight on my way home from the most wonderful weekend in Boise, Idaho… and I think what is sticking with me the most is realizing I didn’t plan a single bit of it. No spreadsheets, no reservations stacked weeks in advance, no meticulously researched itinerary. Wow, how my life has changed from being a type A Manhattan girl! When Mike and I first met, I had two German shorthaired pointers, Sadie and Sam, and he had two German wirehaired pointers, Bridger and Boone. The four of them together became the Pointer Pack, and I loved taking

36 Hours

Highland Lift Line

I’m still not blogging as much as I’d like, so I’m going to mix it up and experiment with shorter and less-polished posts. Iterate and (hopefully) improve! Speaking of short and sweet, I regularly listen to a podcast I really enjoy, Before Breakfast with Laura Vanderkam. The daily podcast is usually only 4-6 minutes long (and I’ll add that a lot of it is ads, so it’s actually much shorter than even that) and each day is a productivity tip or new way to think about things. Listening is a great way to get a little burst of inspiration without
