It seems there is some confusion about our move to a new blog server. We apologize for that!
In May we switched over. Our new blog can be found here: A Bundle of Myrrh so update your bookmark and get over there and catch up with us!

We've Moved!
Do to the restrictions on videos and the limitations of blogger, we are testing a new blog site. It is hosted on my computer, so it will not be the fastest, but I think it will be adequate. If the new one fails to live up to expectations, we will return to posting on this one.
Let us know if you encounter any problems with the new site. Please contact your friendly web admin or leave a comment here.
Thanks!

Pentecost
Come, Holy Ghost, Creator blest,
And make our hearts Your place of rest;
Come with Your grace and heav'nly aid,
And fill the heart which You have made.
Your light to ev'ry thought impart,
And shed Your love in ev'ry heart;
The weakness of our mortal state
With deathless might invigorate.
Teach us to know the Father, Son,
And You, from both as Three in One
That we Your name may ever bless
And in our lives the truth confess.
Come, Holy Ghost, Creator Blest LSB 499
Happy Day of Pentecost! Today we celebrated the coming of the Holy Spirit by wearing red to church, using our fancy red table cloth at dinner and enjoying Strawberry Shortcake.
Hope you all had a wonderful Day of Pentecost!

German Yumminess.
Whoever said making spatzle [SHPEHT-sluh; SHPEHT-sehl; SHPEHT-slee] is quick and easy fibbed! I tried making it the other night, and I'll say it turned out tasting better than I thought it would, but quick and easy it was not. Plus it kind of looked liked white cheetos...I just can't wait to have the real deal in Deutschland!
PS I didn't eat all those meatballs.
