Art Inspired by Forest Trails, Brilliant Lakes, and Wild Vistas
This piece was created to reflect the rhythm of water and the quiet focus found outdoors — designed to move with the paddler, not just sit beneath them.
Developed in collaboration with Sea Gods, the artwork brings together hand-painted detail and digital refinement to translate seamlessly onto a full-scale board.
After the incredible reception of the 2024 collection, I am thrilled to announce that my design is returning to the water on a different style board with Sea Gods Paddleboards.
My work begins by hand — building layered patterns and textures inspired by forests, trails, and water. It's a study in patience. Whether I’m painting a stone found on a BC shoreline or designing a digital landscape, my process is a form of active meditation.
Every piece begins with a single point of focus, expanding outward into complex patterns that mirror the symmetry of the natural world. I believe that when we slow down to appreciate the smallest details, we find a deeper connection to the wild places we love.
The goal is simple: create artwork that feels grounded, immersive, and connected to the environment it comes from.

My design depicts a paddling journey on which one might embark on this board, soaking in beautiful natural vistas.
One could also interpret the flow to represent the passage of time, personal growth or spiritual ascension, or the incredible feat of perseverance.
The original design was painted on a two-foot piece of paddleboard shaped slate, my first and favourite medium for mandala landscape painting.

I’m Amy, a Canadian artist inspired by time spent in nature — from forest trails to open water.
My work blends hand-painted detail with digital refinement, allowing it to move beyond traditional formats and onto objects that are meant to be used, experienced, and lived with.
I’m drawn to creating pieces that feel both structured and organic — reflecting the balance between movement and stillness found outdoors.
Fuelled by the light of the summer sun, I pour my heart into each one, capturing beloved places and preserving them forever.
I'm always excited to find new ways for my art to connect with people.
