About the BSD
Formed in 1933 The British Society of Dowsers (BSD).
A UK based organisation that has members from all around the globe.
We promote the practice of dowsing, a technique often associated with locating underground water, minerals, or energy sources, as well as a method for gaining insights into various aspects of life. The BSD serves as a hub for dowsers, whether they are beginners or seasoned practitioners, offering resources, training, and events to support and develop their dowsing skills.
The society’s activities include providing educational materials, organising workshops and seminars, and fostering a community of like-minded individuals interested in exploring the art of dowsing. They also aim to bring a greater understanding of the practice to the public, advocating for its potential uses in fields like land surveying, environmental research, health, and spiritual exploration.
In addition to supporting the personal growth of individuals practicing dowsing, the BSD works to maintain ethical standards within the community, ensuring that dowsing is practiced responsibly and respectfully. The society also collaborates with researchers and practitioners worldwide to deepen the knowledge and application of dowsing methods in both traditional and modern contexts
