what is ecoartspace?

ecoartspace has served as a platform for artists addressing environmental issues since 1997. In 2020, we transitioned to a membership model. Members include artists, scientists, professionals, students, and advocates sharing resources and supporting each other's work. This is an inclusive, non-competitive collaborative environment where we can imagine and make real a healthy, equitable, resilient future.

Woods creates interactive media and sculptures that explore the intersections of technology, ecology, and hidden systems. Her work combines digital fabrication, light, sound, and movement with organic and figurative elements to create immersive, tactile experiences. Her exhibition Every Body a Water Body, Every Field a Clock examines the Ogallala Aquifer, which supports up to one-third of American agriculture, in the Great Plains where for centuries, millions of Bison once roamed. Currently at Women & Their Work Gallery, Austin, Texas through November 22, 2026.
