Green Oil is the solution to the problem of PTFE and petrochemicals in bike products. Simon Nashthe founder is a polymath: environmentalist, formulation chemist, activist and television's Political and Environmental Commentator. Developing the Green Oil formulas for a greener world, the company has been part of a movement to abolish PTFE from the bike industry and beyond. A legal ban on PTFE in France has come in already. Similar bans are coming to the USA and the EU, because of PTFE's clear links to cancer and environmental pollution.
PTFE used in other bike lubricants has a carcinogenic supply chain. Plastic packaging used for other bike lubricants isn't recycled. Green Oil uses recycled plastic, and is phasing in Prevented Ocean Plastic for an even greener future. Green Oil was the first British company to use 100% recycled plastic over a decade ago, something that showed the government the Plastic Packaging Tax, meaning all bottles will contain recycled content is possible. Leading the bike industry, Green Oil is creating a better world. The latest Green Oil product is the Green Oil Massive-Brush the World's longest production bike cleaning brush! Plastic free and made from sustainably sourced wood, it's a game changer. PTFE and petrochemicals have been polluting rivers, oceans and your local bike shop for decades.
