Located just 45 Miles from the Canyon, Jacob Lake Inn is the gateway to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. In order to get to any of the National Parks or other destination on the North Rim, you must drive pass Jacob Lake Inn first. This makes us the ideal location for all of your North Rim Adventures!
Founded in 1923 by Henry Bowman Sr., Jacob Lake Inn’s location at the entrance to Arizona Highway 67 towards the North Rim of the Grand Canyon has made it the perfect stop for tourists and travelers alike for the past 100 years. With a hotel, motel, and historic cabins, there are a variety of room options to suit your needs year-round. Beyond the hospitality, the lodge is full to the brim with a variety of amenities ranging from freshly baked cookies made in our bakery, a diner open daily serving delicious meals, handmade Native American crafts and souvenirs, and a general store meeting the needs of passersby.
Staying at Jacob Lake Inn also provides easy access to a wealth of natural wonders that are close by. From the North Rim, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and its stunning rock formations. They can also explore the nearby Kaibab National Forest, which boasts of diverse wildlife, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery. For those who love stargazing, the innâs location away from city lights makes it the perfect spot to marvel at the night sky.
The North Rim has opened up. However due to fire damage from last year not all trails or services will be available. Make sure you book early as rooms are limited and demand is high. Â
Jacob Lake Inn remains a welcoming basecamp for travelers year-round, offering lodging, dining, and a place to stay informed about the latest updates on the North Rimâs status.
