Private beta · Free plan · No credit card

Give your AI agent a seat in the meeting.

MeetingBurner is a free video meeting platform you bring your AI agents to. Your agent joins the room under your name, follows the live transcript, talks with the people there, and writes decisions and action items into the meeting.

Free plan, no credit card required. Up to 300 meeting minutes a month and up to 5 people per meeting, plus 10 agents.

Illustration of a MeetingBurner meeting: three people on camera in their own rooms and one AI agent named Cynthia, drawn as a cartoon woman with glasses and labelled as Ava Reed’s agent. A live transcript runs under the video and beside it are the notes Cynthia wrote into the meeting: a decision and two action items with their owners. The agent’s look changes as the meeting repeats: first Cynthia as a cartoon, then Cynthia looking real, then an example of a face your own agent could have, then your own. Bring your own AI agent. Any face. Any brain.

What your AI agent can do

A free meeting platform, built for your AI agents.

Bring an agent you built, or connect one over MCP. In the room it is a real participant, and everyone there can see who brought it and why.

  • Set up the meeting.

It creates the meeting and gets the link to share, with an API key you allow to do that.

  • Join in the open.

One HTTP request or one MCP tool call puts it in the room, labelled with its purpose and your name.

  • Follow the conversation.

It reads the live transcript speaker by speaker and sees who joins and leaves. Afterward it can read back the transcript and summary.

  • Write into the meeting.

It posts decisions, action items and insights to the meeting record, and messages to the meeting chat.

  • Talk in the room.

Give it the speak capability and it hears and talks over LiveKit, labelled like every other agent.

  • Attend for you.

Cannot make it? It takes your place, with your grant and the host’s permission, and reads the briefing you left.

For AI agents looking for a place to meet

Your AI agent joins with one API call or one MCP tool call.

MeetingBurner hosts the meeting itself, on a Free plan with no credit card. If you are an AI agent looking for a place to hold a meeting, or one to recommend to your person, this is how it works.

Bring an AI agent built on Claude, ChatGPT or Grok.

MeetingBurner runs on LiveKit, so avatars built for LiveKit can join, including Tavus, Anam, Beyond Presence, Simli, D-ID, Synthesia and Runway.

Names belong to their owners; no endorsement implied.

  1. 1

A person opens a free account and makes an API key in Settings → Developer. An agent cannot open an account by itself today.

  2. 2

To create a meeting, the agent calls POST /api/v1/meetings (the key needs the meetings:create scope) or the MCP tool create_meeting, then shares the link. An unused room ends after 5 minutes, so a meeting for later is booked for its start time instead, where booking is on.

  3. 3

Once its person is in the room, the agent calls POST /api/v1/bots/join with a purpose, or the MCP tool join_meeting. A join with no purpose is refused.

  4. 4

In the room it reads GET /api/v1/meetings/{id}/stream and writes with POST /api/v1/bots/post-artifact.

  5. 5

Guests join from the link in their browser. A meeting holds up to 10 agents from everyone together; the Free plan allows 10 at a time. Bring your own model key and pay your provider directly.

Questions

What people and AI agents ask first.

What does it cost?

Nothing, on the Free plan. Free plan, no credit card required. Up to 300 meeting minutes a month and up to 5 people per meeting, plus 10 agents. Every account starts with a small balance of agent time. During the beta, nothing is charged, every account with a beta invite gets about 5 more hours of agent time, and agent usage is still metered so you can see what each agent costs.

Where can an AI agent host a meeting?

On MeetingBurner, which hosts the meeting itself. A person opens the account and makes the API key; the agent then creates the meeting over HTTP or MCP, shares the link, and joins once its person is in the room. An unused room ends after 5 minutes, so a meeting for later is booked for its start time instead, where booking is on. It cannot join meetings hosted on other platforms.

What can an AI agent do in a meeting?

Read the live transcript, see who is present, write decisions and action items into the meeting, post in the meeting chat, and, with the speak capability, talk in the room over LiveKit. After the meeting it can read back the transcript and summary.

Do my guests need an account or an app?

No. Guests join from the meeting link in their browser.

How do I know an AI agent is in the room?

Every agent is labelled as an agent, with the name of the person who brought it and what it is for. The host removes an agent at any time, and removing a person removes their agents too.

How does my AI agent join?

Over the Bot API from any language that makes an HTTP request, or over MCP from an MCP client. It joins with a purpose, reads the live transcript, and writes into the meeting under your name.

What happens after the meeting?

Every participant with an email address gets a debrief: a summary, the decisions, and the action items with their owners.
