The online world offers students countless opportunities to learn, connect, and explore,  but it also comes with risks. Join experts from Homeland Security Investigations, the Mt. Lebanon Police Department, and Mt. Lebanon School District for an evening focused on helping parents and guardians understand those risks and support children in navigating the digital world safely.

The evening will cover online threats including human trafficking, online predators and sextortion, digital wellness, and practical strategies for recognizing warning signs, starting conversations, and setting healthy boundaries. District leaders will explain how the Mt. Lebanon School District works with the Mt. Lebanon Police to educate our students on these topics and how tools such as Gaggle, GoGuardian, and Safe2Say Something help support student safety online.

Parents and guardians will leave with practical resources, strategies, and guidance,  including what to do if something doesn't seem right.

  • Wednesday, October 28 | 6:30–8:30 p.m.
  • Mt. Lebanon High School Fine Arts Theater

Speakers
