As one of the world’s greatest bicycle cities, Portland has inspired our craft, starting with the riding. We pedal across the city’s bridges, down its alleys, over the West Hills and through Forest Park. Further afield, we ride some of the Pacific Northwest’s best rural gravel roads, ripping singletrack and spectacular asphalt. Each Breadwinner bicycle was born of these places.

Portland has long been a place that fosters artisan makers and small businesses. Those roots—our roots—have allowed the local bike industry to evolve and grow. We’re proud to be part of the next wave of the Portland bike industry, which is creating quality jobs and American-made products.

Every bicycle we make comes from our workshop in Portland. We live and work here because we love it. This is the place we’ve chosen to call home.
