I work for one of the world’s largest technology companies. These projects explore better ways to train teams, work with information and make films.
A data platform I built from collection to query: scheduled Python jobs, historical snapshots, cached calculations and a web dashboard. A unified API and MCP server let AI assistants work with the same data.

For many years I was a photographer. I shot weddings, studio portraits and music videos, made books and posters, and lectured photographers on Photoshop as an Adobe evangelist. Sigma sponsored my work, and this website was where Foveon shooters from all over the world came to talk.

2008 was the busiest year, when the DP1 arrived and Sigma bought Foveon.

The key plate carries the lines. Beer labels, books from my years in China, a ketchup brand of my own, and portraits drawn without lifting the pen.
For several years I drew the labels for Beerium, a small brewery in Surte. Paper first, then the iPad, then rolls of labels, a labelling machine and a cold can by the pool.

I’m Carl. Light was my first material, then sound, then code. These days AI is my team: one model plans, others write the code, and a third plays the result, takes screenshots and grades it until it’s good enough.
