Keila made her 7th grade basketball team!!! (cuz i rock like that :D) hee hee so after killer try-outs i made the basketball team. it was NOT easy! i am excited to play in the games but practices are brutal!

Flinn Finalist

Jeri Lin is 1 of 41 Flinn finalists (from the original 500). This means another round of interviews before the true excitement begins. The interview is on March 7th. Wish her luck.

Bryton's Update

Look at me. I think I'm cool. The flash of the camera made stars on my sunglasses. I know. I'm that cool.

Haha. This is just Jeri Lin pickin' on her little brother Bryton who isn't so little anymore. We were taking pictures the other day so that he could send some to his friend in Alaska. He really liked this one.

Here's another one of him and Hayden from the last time we went to the beach. It's really cool. Our two boys!

Jeri Lin's Update

I've decided that Keila doesn't do a good job of putting a whole lot of emotion into the posts about me so I'm going to do it myself...

I am a semi-finalist for the Flinn scholarship!!!!

This is a really big deal for me. I put so much time and effort writing essays and filling out the seemingly endless application. Waiting two months for the letter was unbearable, but it finally came and then I cried BEFORE I even opened it! (Don't laugh. I was super nervous.) Next comes regional interviews on January 14th at 11:55 AM. I'm scared to death. I'll keep you updated.

Here is the picture of my best friend and me at the hospital Christmas party. We had dinner there and then went to Winter Formal at the school. Typical school dance. The party, meeting the REAL Santa, and eating from the neverending chocolate fountain were definitely our favorites.

BRYTON MADE THE BASKETBALL TEAM!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! We are so happy!!!! For the moment he is known as a "bubble player". The definition of that is that he is not guarenteed playing time but he's on the team and is practicing to get better so he might be able to get bumped up!!!
