There is something about the charm of Sledmere which has captivated visitors for over 200 years.

Whether you just want a relaxing day looking around the beautiful 18th century Walled Garden, enjoying a picnic lunch in the Parkland, a family day out exploring the wide open spaces, or even just simply looking at fine art and architecture in our beautiful country home, there is something for everyone at Sledmere House and Gardens - open 4 days a week.

The Parkland and Gardens are open Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sun. Sledmere House is open, for guided tours only, from late March to late September on selected dates. Please check the House section on our website for the dates the House is open as these vary.

Sledmere Farm Shop, Coffee Shop, Adventure Play Area and Farm

Sledmere’s new Farm Shop is the place to stop off and browse, grab a coffee, have fun in the Adventure Play Area and meet animals in the Farm.

Open every day, 8.30am - 5pm.

You do not need a ticket to access the Coach House Cafe or The Farm Shop. All parking is free.
