Welcome to my website, a place where all my activities as a writer are explained. I’ve been writing for some years now, and have become a specialist in crime history and biography. I hope that, whatever your tastes in the wide spectrum of my writing, there will be something here to interest you.

I have now passed the 100 mark in my book titles. Please go to my Books page for details.

Coming up in 2026-7:

A History of Criminal Tudor England (Pen and Sword, July 1926)

A Dark History of York  ( Amberley, January, 2027)
