Today is March 18th—and we’re right in the middle of closing on something truly specialâ€Ķ our new QTH in Ojochal, Costa Rica.

This isn’t just any station. This is a Pacific Ocean–facing QTH with a jaw-dropping view and incredible takeoff straight across the water. It’ll do just fine in other directions—but let’s be honest—this one is built for the Pacific. ðŸŒŠðŸ“Ą

But more than radioâ€Ķ this is a life QTH. A dream spot. The kind of place you picture when you think about freedom, family, and doing what you love every single day.

Starting in 2026, this becomes our snowbird home—six months in paradise, six months back in the States. And getting in now matters. Markets like Ojochal are changing fast. Properties like this? In 10 yearsâ€Ķ they won’t be within reach if you wait.

Radio Echo Communications was created by Ray Higgins (W2RE) and Robert Higgins (KC2UPN) to serve the commercial and amateur community. We have many years of experience building and maintaining world-class stations operating as Hudson Valley Tower and RemoteHamRadio.

Operating under a new name (Radio Echo Communications) you will get the same great service. Let us handle building your new station or maintain your existing one. Antenna and tower construction can be complicated, let us handle the difficult part and you worry about operating. Why risk your health and investment when we are here to help. Fully insured!

Update: Dec 2019. As you can imagine were pretty busy maintaining the largest DX/Contest stations in USA and the many REC clients. However we have good news! In the spring-summer-fall 2020 we will have additional staff (qualified climbers) to fill the strond demand for our service.

W1/Eastport

In the Fall of 2016, the RHR team upgraded the MEGA station on the coast of Maine. We now have four towers on-site and many more planned.
