README FOR EE OSX Intel.

This is EE (the Euphoria Editor) compiled and built to run on OSX Intel Platform.

The Editor runs in a terminal.

Starting EE.
You can open a terminal and type ./ee to start the editor.
If you click on EE from the GUI it will open a small 80x24 terminal running
the editor.
EE does not adjust if you change the terminal size.
If you start EE inside a large terminal it runs fine.

About keyboard handling in the OSX terminal.
The Mac does not seem to send keys like PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN to the
terminal at all.

ALT keys
The ALT keys for the menu options(ALT F,E,S,V,R,O,H) are enabled so you
dont need to use the ESC key to access the menus.

ALT 3 - produce the hash '#' code, so switching between files using ALT is
not going to work. Just use ALT_V n. e.g ALT V 3 will switch to file 3.

INSERT,HOME,PAGEUP,PAGEDOWN send nothing to terminal programs.

The following keys are remapped.

F5=PAGEDOWN
F6=PAGEUP
F7=PASTE LINE
F8=YANK LINE

CTRL Keys
CTRL_C, CTRL_Y will break the running program.
I have not added any signal handling.
For the time being - do not use control keys!

Credits
Thanks to the original author of the EE editor, it is a really nicely
written application and very nice to have if you want to edit a Euphoria
program.

Hints and Tips for reading keys on the Mac Terminal
The Mac terminal sends some long key sequences.
e.g F8 is {27,91,49,57,126}
To read these I have modifed the keys.e function, please see the example
file, mackeys.ex

The Mac does not support the text characters needed to draw boxes.
