     Tracer for Windows Euphoria programs

This is a lightweight Euphoria tracing and trouble-shooting tool for Windows code - see 'tracer3.ew'. I was inspired by R. S. Wiliamson's useful 'trackvars'. This needed a little updating. I've also tried to add some extras. I hope people will edit my efforts to suit their needs, and advise me about shortcomings, as I'm not very experienced!.

The setupTrace() procedure is called after your main Window has been created. It sets up a child window with an MleEdit. Traces are shown in the MleEdit. Recent traces are also shown in a StatusBar at the bottom of the main window. Calls to track() can be inserted in your code after setup. Examples: track("Check failed!") or track(sprintf("myvar = %d",{myvar})). Similar examples are given as comments in tracer3.ew. (See docs for sprintf, which will be needed for most uses.)

If the child window (with MleEdit) gets in your way, it can be minimized or 'X'd. Recent traces will continue to be shown in the StatusBar.

The MleEdit 'log' of all traces is global (variable name 'tracertext'), so it can easily be written to file or printed.
