Been using these for months — durable, thick, and protective
Been using the Spincare Density vinyl covers for about 6 months now, and they’ve done an amazing job at protecting my vinyls. The sleeves are thick enough to provide proper protection, but still surprisingly transparent. They do slightly dull the colours if you’re under direct light, but otherwise the artwork still shows through really nicely — if they’re just on a shelf or display, you barely notice them. I moved house recently and protection was way more important to me than keeping the artwork super vibrant, and honestly these sleeves came through. No scratches, no dings, no bent corners — every record made it safely. They fit a good range too — I have a mix of singles, doubles, and even triple LPs. Singles and doubles fit quite easily, triples can be a bit of a tight squeeze, but still doable. It’s like putting paper in a plastic wallet — once the edges are aligned, it just slides in. If you care about keeping your vinyls safe long-term, these are a no-brainer.

    Perfect sizing for a 12” record in a jacket, with just the right amount of extra room so that you don’t accidentally nick a corner of the sleeve while placing it in the jacket. Very easy to slip it right in. Really good quality that you can feel. Clarity’s great; you can see exactly which record it is and any details on the jacket without taking it off. Can’t speak to long term protection at this point, but the sleeves seem very durable and protective.

    Great quality sleeves, easy to use
    These sleeves arrived in good condition and do exactly what I needed them to do. The material feels like a decent quality polyethylene — sturdy enough to protect records, but not stiff or brittle.

    Great value sleeves. They claim to hold LP's of up to 4 vinyls which I haven't tried. I have put 2 lps with 3 disks in each into the sleeves and one fitted just fine but the other which has a bifold case protrudes by about 10mm so if any album has more than a single fold case it won't fully encase it but those kind of albums are few and far between. Otherwise they are a pretty decent quality sleeve for a good price.

    These are great, no bulky seams or flaps to bulk up your shelves, tight enough to hold my single vinyl, but flexible enough to slip over my copy of Quadrophenia without distorting.

    It’s a protective outer record sleeve so there’s not much to say apart from that. Double album gatefold sleeves containing modern heavyweight vinyl are a snug but comfortable fit. Compared to the sleeves I had been using it is harder to find the opening edge to insert the album. Only time will tell whether these are good for the reason I bought them. Part of my record collection that I now store downstairs gets some oblique sunlight on the spines at certain times of the day and I chose these as a precaution in the hope that the UV protection will prevent fading

Desde mi experiencia como revisora exigente y amante de los vinilos (y vaya que tengo unos cuantos), este tipo de protección es necesaria para conservar tus discos en buenas condiciones a largo plazo.

    Algo que valoro mucho es la resistencia y grosor de estas fundas: hablamos de un calibre de 400, equivalentes a 100 micras, que ofrece una sensación robusta y duradera al tacto. Se adaptan muy bien a discos dobles y gatefold, con sus dimensiones exactas de 323mm x 327mm, aunque en el caso de discos sencillos quedan algo holgadas, un punto a tener en cuenta dependiendo de cómo prefieras conservar tus LP.

    Como suele decir La Jueza de Amazon, una buena funda tiene que ser más que resistente: debe cuidar del vinilo y evitar esos pequeños deterioros por el roce constante al meter y sacar los discos. Estas fundas cumplen bien esa función, y además son libres de ácidos, lo cual te da tranquilidad de que las carátulas no sufrirán daños ni descoloramiento con el paso del tiempo.

    Si hablamos del aspecto visual, las fundas son lo suficientemente transparentes para identificar los discos rápidamente, aunque es cierto que tienen un leve acabado opaco que puede no convencer a los más puristas en términos de visibilidad absoluta. Personalmente, creo que es un sacrificio mínimo comparado con la protección y durabilidad que aportan.
