Colin Kapp at his best
Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2013I've had a hard copy of this book for as long as I can remember, the title is Transfinite Man published by Berkley Publishing Corporation 1964.I have read it numerous times and never tire of the story. The book is worn and the pages are yellow so I'm glad it is now on kindle.
As an avid sci.fi, fantasy fiction etc. reader I tend to look at different styles in authors. Colin Kapp has the uncanny ability to make the reader believe they are actually there ( at least I believe it )
The Survival Game also by Colin Kapp, published in 1976 will be coming out on kindle soon, I will definitely be ordering a copy
This is one of those books that once started cannot be put down. A fantastic read.

Emerald5 out of 5 starsPerfect Science Fiction
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on August 13, 2013This is a well written but simple science fiction novel. In my opinion one of the best ever written. Colin Kapp starts the story like a film noir (Mike Hammer) detective pulp fiction then builds it slowly into a mind boggling, grand scope affecting the whole universe.
Easy to read and perfect plot and characters. If you like science fiction don't miss this.
