    I loved the characters when they were finally together. Some SPOILER ALERTS: The male character was a complete ho for much of the book. The threesomes he seemed to be all about were disgusting. And, I hated the long amount of time that they were broken up towards the end. This is something the author does in her books. Very long separations. Did it have to be so hurtful, bitter and protracted? Did his friends have to be so mean to her? Did they have to have many implied different sexual partners while they were apart? People in love wouldn't do this. The ending didn't feel believable to me after so much time, hatred and bitterness from the male character. Couldn't they have just cleared up the misunderstanding and forgiven each other after a few weeks? If they were really in love, there would have been more effort. It ruined their story for me. On the plus side, there were some really funny laugh out loud moments when they were on double dates with other partners, that I enjoyed. And I loved seeing how other characters from book one were getting along. The author does a great job of incorporating the characters from previous books. TL Swan is an exceptional author. She always has unique characters and plot twists. I will be reading more of her books. Book 1 in the Kingston series is much better. I look forward to book 3.

    I loved the first book, and Blake definitely stood out in it. I'm glad we got to hear his story. The way he loved Rebecca from the moment he met her is what makes this story so cute. Poor Rebecca had the world's worst husband. I was upset with how she allowed him to still have so much control over her and her life after everything he put her through. She for sure didn't make the best decision when it came to moving on from him. It's too bad it took her losing Blake to get a backbone. The story was romantic and funny at the same time. I laughed so much. The way 3 grown men got into smut stories was epic. I can't wait to find out who the writer is. Blake has got to be one of my all-time e favorite book boyfriends. Even his family was perfect. Now we wait to hear Antony's story. Something tells me it's going to be a tear jercker.

    This phrase appears frequently in the book and is clearly foreshadowing what's to come. However, I never felt that either of the main characters truly healed from their situation. As expected, there's a third-act breakup—typical for the trope—but the resolution left me unsatisfied. By the end of the book, I didn’t believe the characters were emotionally ready to reconcile.

    Up until about 80% of the way through, I really enjoyed the story. The character development is excellent, and I loved the dynamics between them. But the third-act breakup and the scenes that followed were disappointing. I felt genuine sadness for the unfortunate circumstances of their lives. What hurt most was the response from the friends, particularly Henley and Antony, who knew what the protagonist was going through yet failed to support her. These two will have to do a lot to redeem themselves as friends.

    The reconciliation between the main characters also felt rushed and lacked depth. I would have appreciated a scene from Blake's point of view, showing what he experienced with his new girlfriend and the journey that led to his understanding and forgiveness. Without that, it was hard for me to forgive him as a reader. Overall, while I liked the story, the rushed forgiveness and abrupt wedding left me wanting more.

    As a long-time fan of T.L. Swan, I typically enjoy her work, but this book wasn’t one of my favorites. That said, I think the story can still be salvaged, especially if future books include additional scenes that delve deeper into Blake’s journey. I look forward to continuing the series!

    I really enjoyed Rebecca and Blake's story. TL Swan's humor is hilarious, making me laugh out loud. I listened to the audiobook and I love these narrators. They add so much depth to the characters. Drama ensued.

    Second chance romance for Rebecca, we learned of issues with her marriage to John in the first book of the series. Is Blake a reformed playboy? I liked how they were friends and then it grew to something more. I love how this little street has such a close group of friends.

    The ending left me hoping there's a third book in the series.

    I don’t even know where to begin other than to say this book is a must read and warn you that you won’t be able to put it down until you finish it. I feel like I just got off the craziest rollercoaster I’ve ever been on but I’m completely sad it’s over.

    This book is going to run you through every emotion possible and somehow leave you wanting more. I’m so glad more books are coming for other characters because I’m not ready to let Kingston Lane go. I need more!

    I don’t want to give anything away because there are some twists and turns you need to experience for yourself. Just know I promise you it will all be worth it!

    Amazing book. Hope we hear more about these characters in future books!

    10/10. Highly recommend.

    We fans waited what felt like a long time for this Kingston Lane installment, but it was well worth the wait!!! There were scenes in the book that had me laughing long and out loud, whether rereading them or even days later when I thought of them (even in the grocery store!). Henley, Blake and Ant's conversations and shenanigans usually have me in hysterics! Great story that included some very poignant, heart-wrenching moments as well. You come to care for all the characters who live on Kingston Lane. I'll be reading this book over and over, just like I do My Temptation. Enjoy!

    Love, love, loved this book. My favourite book by TL Swan and I daresay, my favourite book boyfriend too.

    Totally swept away by Blake. Swooning and laughing left, right and centre at him. The man is goals.

    The story flowed and there were some little twists and side stories in there too so I could never quite predict what was going to happen. It was also incredibly funny and engaging, I felt you really got to know both Blake and Rebecca and be pulled into their Kingston Lane world.

    To me, it was also very relatable and human. The feelings, emotions and reactions of the main characters as they navigated life and love resonated and I felt like they also left little lessons for me in their trail.

    It was a bit of a slow burn however I genuinely did not notice it because I was totally engrossed in the story and everything that was happening. That said.. when the flames lit up.. whooaah.. Fiiirreee..

    If you loved Dr Stanton, the Miles Brothers and Mr Spencer, this book is totally for you. I found the writing style similar with a lot of humour, romance and saucy moments.

    Thank you TL Swan for another brilliant book. I can't wait for the next one.

    I really loved My Rules. Yes, it was sometimes a bit cheesy, but in a way that completely worked for me. The interaction within the friend group was one of my favorite parts and made the story feel lively and immersive. The romance was gripping, and the cliffhanger around Anthony’s story left me so curious that I’m desperately hoping his book comes out very soon.
