Absolutely the best protein shake and best tasting I have had! The Tahitian Breeze has a slight tropical/coconut taste; It's creamy and the best part is that it's loaded with all kinds of goodness for your body!! I have tried MANY shakes and this one, by far, is the best! It doesnt have that artificial sweetener taste and is sweet, just enough! I was drinking Herbalife and took note of all of the artificial junk in it, i didn't feel that my body would really benefit because it had to fight through all of the junk! PLUS NutraBlendz has more fiber and protein...less calories and fat... the sugar was a tad higher BUT its sweetened naturally, so I'll take that over anything artificial! I really feel good putting this product in my body to help me achieve my goals! Excited to try the other flavors! DEFINITELY a great purchase!

    So, I am a person that generally can't stand the taste of protein powder or its inability to be smooth and creamy. I have tried whey protein via GNC (not going to label brand) and it was smooth and tasted okay but it made me feel bloated. I am a person whose diet is heavy in vegetables so protein is something that I struggle with. That being said, I have now tried, TRUProteins for a week. Here is my review of the Caribbean Sunrise flavor protein: I decided that I wanted to try it with just water first to see what the protein actually tasted like. I used one scoop in 10 oz of water. I shook the product/water, it blended pretty quickly. It was not completely smooth but it was not gritty either. I could taste a hint of pineapple and coconut. To me, it also had a taste similar to oatmeal that was more pronounced than the other flavors. I love oatmeal so this was not an issue for me (just want to be 100% honest so you have a good idea of taste). The package recommends almond milk. I do not like almond milk at all so I used Lactose-free skim milk instead, 1 1/2 scoop of powder, Dole frozen mixed fruit (peaches, mangoes, pineapples, strawberries), and store brand frozen blueberries. I blended it until creamy. It was absolutely delicious! I drank it for breakfast post-workout. It was super filling and I didn't feel any discomfort or bloat. There are a number of ways that I will probably use the protein (in pancakes, oatmeal, etc) and will update if anything changes. But, all in all, it is a great protein: all natural, no fillers, or thickeners, plant protein (quinoa, hemp pea, rice); texture is smooth, blends easily - even in water; taste (for Caribbean Sunrise) is great: I taste more oatmeal with a hint of pineapple/coconut; however, adding the frozen fruits really add to the flavor. This is my new protein choice. I look forward to trying new flavors and will update my recommendation (along with how it works with other recipes). Amazing quality.

    I plan on trying all four flavors. The vanilla is a nice flavor, just sweet enough. I am mixing it with milk and unsweetened yogurt or kefir, a handful of ice and a few handfuls of frozen fruit. It makes about a 20 ounce portion. It is enough to sip on for a couple of hours and keep me from feeling hungry. The texture is definitely smoother with some yogurt or kefir added.

    The ingredients are impressive, and i have yet to find a better product. Shakeology might be, but it is extremely cost prohibitive. The are also a few others that might be close, but food sensitivities keeps me away from those. I am very happy to have found this company.

    I am also adding a super greens powder as well.

    I will post updates on the other flavors as I try them.

    After 3 days, i crave the next smoothie. Lol.

    The only negative is the size of the package. There is literally no extra space when first opening the package. It will make a little bit of a mess. Then I put the pouch inside a gallon sized zip lock bag after opening because i doubted my ability to reseal it.

    Update: I tried the chocolate and it sort of reminded me of chocolate cake batter. I'm honestly not sure about it. As of now, I prefer the vanilla to the chocolate. The chocolate isn't bad but seemed a good bit sweeter, which may have been from the frozen cherries (quite a few) that were added. Much more dessert-ish.

    Update: It seems the frozen cherries were behind the cake batter. Made one with more strawberries and texture/sweetness was similar to the vanilla. I still prefer the vanilla though.

    The Caribbean flavor is a pleasant coconut taste and smell. If you like coconut, it's a great flavor. I probably like this as much as the vanilla.

    The blank slate, is probably perfect to add to sweetened, flavored smoothie recipes where you might not want any extra flavor or sweetness.

    I'm probably going to use the Tahitian and Caribbean flavors most often. Occasionally the chocolate for variety and keep some blank slate around for experimenting.

    TRUProteins, if you read this: I would love to be able to send a sample set of flavors as gifts. Maybe a serving or two of the 4 varieties for $10 to $20, depending on the number of servings. That would be awesome. Thanks. I think it would also give people a chance to try them all before buying whole bags.

    Read some reviews stating that this powder has a gritty texture.. well yeah.. If you read the ingredients you'll see why it has a somewhat gritty texture, no matter how well you blend flax and chia seeds, they're always going to be somewhat gritty. The vanilla tastes great with just milk but my favorite way to make it is with milk, frozen banana and strawberries and ice. Soo creamy and delicious and satisfies my hunger and helps curb cravings. The Caribbean flavor is by far my favorite. I mix it with water, a bit of orange juice and frozen pineapple and dear lord it tastes like a pina colada. I did not like the chocolate flavor at all. It tasted very strange, nothing like chocolate. But again, vanilla and Caribbean are delicious. Probably some of the best tasting protein powder I've ever tried and the price isn't bad either.

    First of all, this is delicious. No aftertaste, not chalky, does not taste like any other brands I have tried before. I bought the Cote D'Ivoire and the Caribbean mix, too. It's really even good with water just stirred or shaken; but it is amazing in the blender with water and banana. I don't drink milk at all, so I did (hesitantly) try with Almond milk ...it's almost too filling for me personally with the almond milk. After a couple days, I did go back to blending just with water, because I think the combination of all protein, almond milk and blending lots of air into the drink was a shock to my system and left me bloated. I got my husband hooked on this, too. The bloating did not happen to him at all. I'm hooked on the Cote d'Ivoire with banana and Trader Joes peanut butter with flax seed; which has low sugar and low sodium.

    I bought this product as meal replacements because I had the bad habit of skipping meals and felt tired a lot and not very healthy. I have so much energy, I FEEL GREAT. I have never been a breakfast person at all, and now I have one of these shakes every morning and I am not hungry, not tired, when I arrive at work! I'm very happy with the purchase, and look forward to trying the blank slate mix as well. As a matter of fact, I feel so good that it definitely helps me make better choices the rest of the day with what I eat.

    Tropical/Caribbean Sunrise tastes delicious, though sweeter than I would prefer. The Tahitian Vanilla I can’t even get down, and I’m not picky. I’m confused by the positive reviews for that flavor. Maybe I got a bad batch? Maybe they’re overriding the taste in a smoothie? I’m only mixing with milk.

    I love that I can combine milk and the powder in a regular bottle, shake, and get a nice texture without lumps. My body seems to like it.

    I wasn't sure if I'd like this meal replacement powder or if I'd be able to finish one bag, but after about a month I am on bag 3. I first started off buying the vanilla flavor because I thought it would be a better base for adding different varieties of frozen fruit to. While the vanilla was acceptable and I finished it all, I decided to try the chocolate flavor powder next. Chocolate is definitely where it's at for me! I have been having a smoothie with one scoop of the chocolate powder, one cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk, one cup of frozen strawberries, and half a frozen banana every morning for the last two weeks and I am addicted. It is a nice filling breakfast smoothie that is creamy, delicious, and low calorie (275 calories). It is not at all grainy or chalky like protein powders I have used in the past. I actually find myself craving my breakfast smoothie every night when I go to bed. My only complaint is that the bag doesn't last very long for me. Using one scoop per day for myself and one scoop here and there for my husband when he wants a smoothie, the one pound bag lasts about one and a half weeks. I would totally buy this in bigger containers if the option were available! I have looked and looked and can't find any other meal replacement powders that come close to this one in nutritional value, so I'll continue to buy these little one pound bags for the foreseeable future. I absolutely recommend trying this stuff if you are trying to keep meals low calorie but still packed full of nutrition.

Recently though I have noticed that those with sucralose have been giving me a really long lasting aftertaste in my mouth and read other bad things about it. So I then searched for one with no sucralose and came across this line and decided to give it a try.

    I absolutely love it. First of all, disclaimer, I always mix my shakes with either milk or almond milk, never with water, so my flavor review is based on that.....but both flavors are delicious. It blends really smooth in a shaker bottle with no lumps or grit or unmixed powder. I have often used 2 scoops instead of 1 to get more protein and it still mixes well. While I do prefer milk to dark chocolate the dark is still great. There is a 3rd flavor (vanilla) that is not here on Amazon, but I have ordered direct from the company and I am willing to bet it will be as good.

    I only wish they made larger packages as I can go through them quickly (but their website does have a subscription service..I have not tried it myself).

    I was using the Juice Plus protein powder for a bit and decided to branch out (in part because I was sure there is something else that's just as good for less money) and this brand seemed to have good reviews. I liked the idea that the Caribbean flavor would be like a full-on fruit smoothie in taste without having to worry about adding much else, either. But, it arrived and I could barely choke it down. It's so ridiculously sweet that I just can't stand it - and this something I never thought I'd hear myself actually say! I love sweets and treat and I love smoothies, but I can't drink this flavor. I kept telling myself that I'd get over it and/or just to suck it up (no pun intended - ha!) because I didn't want to waste the money, but I realized I was no longer drinking the healthy shakes because I couldn't stand the taste. I gave the brand another chance and just ordered the chocolate flavor. Hoping for good things from it. I wouldn't order this flavor again, but fingers crossed that the next one is better.
