We need more business books like this!

It is about Aligning your brand to what is important to you so people recognise this easily and naturally thereby leading to greater business results. Obviously, there is more to it than this one sentence! And in a time when 'image' is everything, people glance at a logo and it needs to communicate everything, with social media you only have nanoseconds to ensure your brand is seen as true, authentic and real, this book reminds us of the importance of combining the spirit, feeling and sense of what a company/product stands for in order to create the tangible business assets such as a logo and branding.
A must read for anyone wanting to get this right!

Aligning my brand
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 31 May 2022After reading Align and Shine I was inspired to participate in the exercises with the book. Doing these exercises inspired me to birth an idea that has been in my heart for many years. I also reached out to Marianne for a zoom call which was deeply supportive and fruitful regarding my idea and aligning my brand together.
I look forward to working with Marianne in the future as she has such a gift for understanding who you are and bringing your brand alive from within you. A must-read if you are a business owner.

Marianne guides us through her branding process which is as rigorous as it is profound. We deep DIVE to find our why... we DISCOVER a brand which aligns with our inner world … we DEFINE what it looks like to the outside world.
Melding the spiritual with everyday practical, Align & Shine is a distillation of Marianne’s decades of professional engagement with large (see foreword from Mike Harris, Founder of First Direct, Iconic Shift, Egg) as well small and micro businesses. It is as inspiring a read as your brand identity will become with her compelling guidance.

Packed with useful insights and exercises

It helped me a lot to clarify my connection with my business and understand how my visuals can express what I feel and intend. Highly recommended for people launching something new or looking to refresh their current brand, and come from a more connected and genuine place.

Branding as art
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 June 2022I love Marianne's writing style and her clear, clean, simple & deeply profound approach to branding. There are a plethora of systems and formulae on offer to short cut the work that is required to create a brand. Real brands have heart and we all know this consciously or otherwise. Marianne is honest & real about the inner work it takes to create a brand and the journey that it entails. Instead of offering us a formula or a 'way' she cuts to the chase and talks about heart and truth. What is obvious from the stories & testimonials in the book Marianne has an artist's eye for colour, images, textures. The only reason I am giving a 4 star review instead of a 5 is because I craved to see visuals of the 'art' that she creates through her work.

This book allows me to reevaluate all the previous work I have done on branding and to further clarify my purpose.
