This is pretty fun to use for random or all-one-color beads. I mixed some seed beads with some tiny tube-type beads for variety, and it worked well. I had no trouble using the curved needle, following a customer's advice to face the curve away from center and slightly upward. The one I bought is wooden with a nice, smooth feel to it. Beware of one that looks similar, but is a "mini." I almost bought it by mistake.

Picks the beads up quickly and I can finish projects faster!
I was dubious about this purchase, but after reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and try it. I've been working on a necklace with very small beads for along time and and it just wasn't going well. I bought the Spin-n-Bead Bead Loader and I am so happy. I was able to finish my original necklace, a bracelet, and two more bracelets in less than an hour. It took a bit of practice to get the beads to go onto the hook, but once I found the "sweet spot" it was like magic - they just jumped on the needle. The spinner feels sturdy and the speed and rotation are very smooth. It works better the more beads that are in the bowl. I've used seed beads and some larger heavier beads. The heavier beads work, but can sometimes weigh the J hook down so that some of the beads escape as I'm trying to move the hook. I like that it doesn't make a ton of noise and it's just fun.

Not sure how to rate this. The product itself is fine, and I would give it four or five stars. However, the way it was shipped deserves no stars. I've never had an issue with Amazon shipping before, so I was extremely shocked when my package arrived. See photos (although the damage looks worse in person). The spinner was shipped in a paper envelope with no bubble wrap or any kind of protection. It's no wonder the box was crushed, torn, and broken open by the time it got to me. It's a miracle the product wasn't damaged. It really should have been put in a shipping box and not just stuck in a paper envelope.
Extremely poorly packed for shipping. BTW, it does come with a needle

As far as the spinner, I am very happy with it. It works as described. It does take a little bit of getting used to though. I found watching an instructional video on how to use it very helpful.
I was surprised to see that it came with a needle because the ad said it didn't. That would have been valuable information to have ahead of time. They really need to correct that. I spent extra money I didn't have to (and can't really afford) ordering needles. The spinner is costly enough as it is.
In conclusion, the product is good. It comes with a needle (making me feel a little bit better about the cost).
But the shipping was the worst I've ever gotten from Amazon.

Super easy to use once you get the hang of it and way faster than trying to get the beads on string or anything by hand. The needles are a little bit flimsy and you will go through a fair amount of them if you were using it a lot maybe my technique is what the problem is with that but it works so much faster so if you got a lot of beads to put on strings this is the way to go for sure it’s held up excellent I’ve had no mechanical or manufacturing issues at all it still spins just as well as it did in the first day solid product I recommended completely without hesitation😁bonnieHad it for months it’s great
