My wife and kids have burned themselves several times on the oven rack. My wife does it the most, as she uses it the most. The length of the oven door and leaning over it cause issues for those that are short. They have to lean or stretch to reach and issues happen. These covers seem to eliminate part of that issue. Since I installed these they have not been burned. The edges of those racks are awfully hot and can singe your knuckles or fingers. With these covers installed it helps a great deal. I only installed 2 and they work just fine. You could use all 4 and trim them to fit perfect. This setup works fine for us and I have 2 backups.

    These are great. They resist the highest oven temp used for cooking/baking (not self cleaning temps). They are open along one side and slide right over the ends of the racks. They can get hot themselves but never hot enough to burn like an unprotected wire rack. Highly recommend if you or your spouse are prone to bumping and burning yourselves.
