    I have had mixed luck with these as they generally work, but occasionally I will use them on a tube of something (be it glue or toothpaste or something else) where they struggle to squeeze all the contents out. Paradoxially, I find the only good way to remove these squeezers once a tube is empty, is to cut the tube with some scissors and pull the squeezer off via the cut-off edge as trying to remove it from an empty uncut tube can be difficult.
