    As our newborns become toddlers and begin to show their budding personalities, they encounter a constellation of new feelings and thoughts. Mama Hears Me is a wonderful short story that helps little ones identify and articulate these novel emotions. Beyond that, this warm and heart-felt book helps children and adults alike to acknowledge, embrace, and work through their feelings. Using charming rhymes, easy-to-follow mantras, and lovely illustrations, Mama Hears Me serves as a wonderful reminder to little ones that their emotions are valid and can safely be explored; Mama is always close by to listen, guide, and love.

    I would recommend this book to all parents - new and experienced - in addition to young children and soon-to-be siblings. I've already purchased it for my own nephews and as a baby-shower gift for a co-worker. This story covers a robust number of emotions our little ones commonly experience and provides sweet and simple mantras for them to practice and reference for years to come. There are endless ways to interpret the wisdom and love that this gem of a book emanates.

    "Mama Hears Me" is such a beautiful book. It inspires gratitude, positivity, and connection in every emotion from fear and sadness to confidence and joy. I love reading it with my daughter and my boys; the mantras are so sweet, and it always sparks the nicest little conversations. It’s become one of our family favorites. I highly recommend it to every parent, a true gem for bedtime reading !
