  Mint preferable to Browns

  Bought the Keychron K3 with the brown switches having watched lots of youtube reviews and the general advice being 'if you don't know anything about keyboard switches then get brown'. I initially found the keyboard a little disappointing as a continuously made typing errors, hitting the wrong key or two keys and once - I was used to the Macbook Pro keys and even though the K3 is low profile they are still radically more protruding than the mac. After a bit more research I purchased a set of Mint switches and swapped out the Browns - now I'm happy - I think the problem had been the Browns were too soft and too easily activated by casual finger resting on the keys, the Mints require a slightly firmer push but for a heavy fingered typer its more comfortable and less typo producing. Mints make for a more 'positive' K3 experience in that they work well with a firmer typing style and create a reassuring thonk sound, especially the space bar.

  As clicks as the blue switches, they feel about the same. Swapped my browns switches for these and couldn’t be happier.

  Excellent alternative to the brown switches

  I originally bought the Keychron K3 with the brown switches, but found them a bit too mushy for my tastes. The blue switches had better feedback, but where too loud and distracting for me. The mint switches are similar to the browns, but offer more resistance and feel better to my fingers. They may be more fatiguing for people who are really typing all day long, but for me they strike a better balance than the browns. I feel like my accuracy is better and I have fewer accidental presses. The only problem I had was that the space bar felt a bit too stiff. I switched it to a blue and it's fine now. May consider trying the mint at some point in the future for this key as well - it's probably just a matter of getting used to it. On the other hand, one advantage of the K3 is that you can mix and match switches as needed for specific keys.

  Teclas demasiado sensibles. Con solo rozar ya estaria pulsando las teclas. Si es lo que buscas esta bien.

  Got a few sunken switches, not the biggest concern for me because I normally use 60-75% keyboards so plenty switches to spare. But that's why it's 4 stars.

  As for the switches, this is a subjective matter. I'm comparing these tactile mints to the tactile browns that I've used for a couple years: the mints are more hefty, better for those who presses keys harder (I noticed some people do this) -- however I'm more of a gliding typist so the browns are actually better. I do like the tactile bump at the beginning of the mints, so I ordered the bananas (hoping it's a good middle ground) and will report back.

  I've used linear reds in the past, and a simple glide over light touch can trigger an accidental keystroke, but the weight of the blacks is intriguing being a heavier. I also just ordered these and will report back.
