Product Description
This is a great combo pack of Holy Cow BBQ rub and the Holy Gospel BBQ rub. Great variety of taste for all members of your home! The Holy Cow BBQ rub screams Texas! If you have been to Franklin, Kreuz, Blacks or Smittys then you know what I am talking about. This beefy BBQ seasoning is fantastic on brisket, tri-tip and steaks, but can be applied to anything you like. Many folks love it on chicken and burgers. Available in a 12 oz bottle. Ingredients: Salt, spice, dehydrated garlic & spice extractives. Gluten free. No MSG. Meat Church Holy The Holy Gospel BBQ Rub is a mashup of our popular Holy Cow beef seasoning and The Gospel All Purpose rub. NO, it's not 50-50. This took tons of test cooks to get it right. We saw plenty of folks mashing two rubs together plus acted on customer feedback of Holy Cow being too much of a black pepper punch or Gospel needing a little more. Whatever the case, this blend is great on ribs, chicken and beef! Available in a 14 oz bottle, Ingredients: Sugar, salt, spices including paprika, dextrose, dehydrated garlic, celery, silicone dioxide & spice extractives. Gluten free. No MSG.

1.Preparation:Start by preparing your meat or vegetables. Ensure they are clean and dry to allow the rub to adhere well. If you're using the rub on meats like brisket, pork, or chicken, consider applying a thin layer of olive oil or mustard as a binder before applying the rub. This helps the seasoning stick,2.Applying the Rub:Holy Cow BBQ Rub: Sprinkle generously on the surface of beef (steaks, ribs, brisket) or other meats. For best results, apply the rub evenly on all sides, pressing it gently into the meat. Holy Gospel BBQ Rub: This rub can be used on a variety of meats and vegetables. Apply it in a similar manner as the Holy Cow rub, ensuring full coverage,3.Resting the Meat:After applying the rub, let the meat sit for at least 15-30 minutes (or up to an hour) to allow the flavors to absorb. For deeper flavor penetration, you can refrigerate the seasoned meat for a few hours or overnight,4.Cooking:Grilling: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the meat or vegetables on the grill, turning occasionally for even cooking. The rub will create a flavorful crust on the surface. Smoking: For a smoky flavor, use a smoker and cook low and slow at around 225-250°F, depending on the type of meat. Holy Cow and Holy Gospel rubs both create a great bark when smoked. Baking or Roasting: If using the oven, roast your meat or vegetables at 375°F to 425°F, depending on your recipe,5.Serving:Once your meat or vegetables are fully cooked, remove from the heat and allow them to rest for a few minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices and keeps the flavors intact.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2026The Gospel is the one, the other one is really peppery. maybe good for beef ribs. They are good seasonings, just not for everything. But quality and will bring in the right flavor on certain dishes. I do sprinkle the gospel on avocado sometimes though.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2026High quality versatile spices that can be used in more than just beef! I put this stuff on everything and both are great.
Not spicy at all and leaves an excellent bark on ribs and brisket.
I usually will use a mustard binder then coat liberally with holy cow as base and a bit of gospel added in.
My wife used up all the gospel real quick so I’ll be back for more soon.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2026For the perfect brisket look no further than these for rub and the perfectly balanced flavor.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2026This brand of spices has been a constant buy at my house. Lots of flavor, versatile on the meat and and overall great amount.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 2, 2026This stuff is great. Only buy as you need it. After about 30 days it tends to clump up. Use it fresh and makes food taste amazing. I use it on all my meat and eggs. I use it in mac n cheese, on bacon and eggs. I have bought so much of this stuff I should probably get a discount. Maybe I should buy it in buckets for my large events.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2025Now I really can’t wait to go to church!
Threw all my other rubs in the trash …..
- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2025They are both good. Been seeing alot of hype about them and figured i try them out. Not out of this world amazing, but they are good.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2026Love Meat Church seasonings. Both of these go well on anything meat

Surina P.Reviewed in the United Arab Emirates on February 19, 20265.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Seasoning
I only use Meat Church seasoning and brines. Matt and his team have perfected the spices and I wish it was locally available to cut down on the delivery times which also is not too bad to be honest.
