    So far the Leica has exceeded my expectations. I purchased the microscope from Microscope Central. Smooth transaction and delivery. Setup was a breeze. The flex arm is actually more solid than I expected. I was hesitant at first as my initial guts was to purchase the Leica A60 with the GRS acrobat versa stand. I'm glad I saved the difference which can go for other tools that are left on my wish list. I have zero complaint about the arm. It's solid and can easily be moved sideways making place at your work table. The lens is tack sharp giving excellent depth of field where everything is pretty much in focus. The Led light is powerful and the diffuser that comes with the light is a must have. This shows again why Leica is top in their field.

    Didn't buy through Amazon, but have this exact model, purchased as an aid to engraving and I cannot properly verbalize the help it has been to actually SEE your graver cutting to the line. I'm still a neophyte and this is my first microscope but I cant imagine going back to a flip down optivisor. If you can squirrel the money away to buy this you will NOT regret it.
