These kraft bags are absolute gems for DIY gift bags! I'm an avid crafter and like to make my own gift bags, cards and tags for celebrations and holidays. I'm always on the look out for good blanks that I can decorate. These are just perfect! Nice and sturdy, but not so study that they feel like cardboard. My first decorating foray with these was an uber quick, down to the last minute need gift bags for Christmas, scenario. I whipped out the Distress Paint (acrylic-type paint) and Distress Glitter Rock candy and went to town with foam stamps. Turned out great for an uber quick, super cute DIY gift bags (see the photos). The kraft paper didn't buckle, curl or warp from the paint at all! The bags measure 11" x 11" x 5.75" which is a very nice size and quite useful for a lot of gift giving and other gift bag purposes. Not overly large and not too small. These particular bags have the twisted, cord/rope style handle (of which, I happen to like). It's nice as that gives you an easy place to hang gift tags and tie bows on to the bag without having to mess with adhesive and glue. And the price point for the amount of the bags you get? Right on! Now I need to try the white bags from this company! Oh and they arrive in a nice, sturdy box. Yes, a box. So they are easy to store. They are not just shrunk wrapped together... mine arrived in their own box, that was shipped in another box. This company has definitely thought about the fact that these bags need to look good for end user use. Thank you for that! I already have sooo many ideas for decorating these, can't want to get started since I have such a great supply of them. Definitely worth the purchase!
