Fantastic smallish hot light for close portraits, macro work or other photo and video situations. Hotshoe accessory means it can go on camera or on a tripod or other mount as a secondary source with other hot lights or with strobe. Detailed intensity controls let you fine-tune the amount of light and temperature settings mean you can dial in the degree of warmth or coolness precisely. The LED display provides good ongoing awareness about intensity, color temperature and the battery level; it even changes in real time.
As you increase the setting from a low to a high power, for example, the unit re-estimates its remaining runtime. When you change from a high power to a lower power, the light gives you more estimated runtime. Also comes with a great simple plastic diffuser to help manage highlights in your subject.
This is a small LED hot light around the size of a mobile phone so it's not going to light up your cover shot for Vogue but for what it can do at its small size it's an excellent product.
