I spend most of my week hauling long routes through rural areas where cell service is usually hit-or-miss. After trying a couple of cheaper boosters that barely made a difference, I decided to give the Travel 3.0 Truck High Boost Cell Phone Booster a shot — and honestly, I’m glad I did.
Signal Improvement:
The difference is immediate. Areas where I normally sat at 1 bar now jump to 3–4 bars consistently. Calls are clearer, and I haven’t had a single dropped call since installing it. Data speeds also improved a lot — streaming music and using GPS apps is no longer a gamble.
Build Quality:
The hardware feels solid and made for the road. The outside antenna clamps securely to the truck and doesn’t budge, even at highway speeds or during rough weather. The inside antenna is compact and easy to position.

Missed out on a much needed boost ~ should’ve gotten this sooner
I was definitely skeptical in the beginning about purchasing a cell phone booster setup for my semi, but, I must say, I would always see, and continue to see, RVs, over land/off road vehicles, service trucks, and other vehicles/folks in less than ideal coverage zones having them. I decided to do some research and came across HiBoost. While competitor brands may yield similar results, HiBoost’s customer service reviews really caught my attention. I’ve been nothing short of impressed since my first interaction with the support team. Any question(s) and concern(s) are addressed in a timely manner; typically on the same day. As far as the actual cell phone booster is concerned, it definitely works as intended. It must be noted that you need a minimum of one bar in order for it to work. Overall, my signal has been boosted to a minimum of three to four/full bars. Being that my routes take me all across the lower forty-eight states, I’m everywhere (main interstates, highways, backroads, etc), literally. I see this setup not as a want, but, a need; I can’t see myself driving without it. Dropped calls and spotty internet/hot spot services are non existent, except in complete dead zones of course. Overall, if you’re on the road quite often, and/or find yourself in less than ideal coverage zones, this is a must have item; could potentially save a life. I would highly recommend this setup from HiBoost simply because they’ve not only met, but, exceeded my expectations in every which way possible. ***I’ve attached a video review to showcase the booster working in real time.***
