I love the safety features on this rotary cutter. For one, there is a cover over the top of the blade that protects your fingers and only exposes the blade on the bottom for cutting. For another, the loop over the handle prevents your hand from slipping down to the cutting area if you press hard. As far as using it for cutting, it cuts well as long as the blade is sharp. I dislike the wand-type rotary cutters since they do not have these safety features and expose a lot of cutting edge.

I am in love with this rotary cutter! I suffer from RA so my hands don’t always cooperate. This curved style of cutter is super comfortable and makes cutting several layers a breeze. I love that it has safety features such as the blade safety lock. The blades are very easy to replace. Plus it has a Lifetime Warranty!
