These are pretty cheap and flimsy feeling, but are sufficient for kickball, tball, or backyard games on grass. The fact that they're lightweight and can be rolled up and thrown in an equipment bag makes them a good option for practices or activities at the park or away from where they'll be stored. They don't have any grip on the bottom so they work much better on grass than they do on dirt.
There are certainly better quality throw down bases available, but at this price point this is a great option.
