I dermaplane and this is a must have!! I just used the SIMA Sonic dermoplaning system tool to remove dead skin and facial hair, and I found several blackheads that weren't very visible before. So I immediately ordered this Medicube Collagen Mask along with the Medicube Blackhead Mud Mask and it worked really well together. I have reviewed them all separately, in order of use, but I got this and the mud mask, with a spatula, on sale for 35% off. I already have really great moisturizing products, and I was just looking for a good mud mask, but I'm glad I got both of these products, because the dermaplaning tool gave me a bit of razor burn, and, like I said, I had several blackheads, too. The mud mask removed most of the blackheads, except for a couple really large pores. I'll use it a few times more times to, hopefully, reduce those impurities and pore size. It really does work, though. I highly recommend it. Then, I used this Collagen Night Wrapping Mask. I applied it about 30 minutes after rinsing off the mud mask, and went to bed. It spreads well even though it's a sticky gel consistency. It didn't stick to my pillow or rub off on my bedding, which is great! I don't want to have to lay on my back all night. I was really impressed by them both! I'm 51 years old and my pores have gotten a bit larger, and I never had blackheads or acne before. I'm also starting to get a few crows feet wrinkles, and I needed to step up my skincare routine. So I bought this brand because of all the hype and it has the best ratings, along with the less expensive dermaplaning tool (with the same exact features). I waited to give my own review after using all three products, and I will be buying both Medicube products, again. I already use SkinCeuticals moisturizing products and they are absolutely wonderful, but they didn't really relieve the slight razor burn (nothing outrageous, and no rash, just felt a bit of a burning sensation). However, the Medicube products arrived the following day, and, after using the mud mask I felt some improvement and my skin felt better after using the collagen mask so I can definitely say that they are great products!! After I get better at home dermaplaning, should my skin not feel the slight razor burn, I will continue to use both masks because I know they've made a good difference! The mud mask was easy to remove with a damp cloth. Not so easy with just my hands and lukewarm water. It's a lightweight mask and I used more than necessary when trying to put over damp skin so I don't recommend doing this in the shower. I didn't notice any fragrance which is great! The collagen mask wasn't as easy to remove so I used another damp cloth, because it was taking a while using just my hands and lukewarm water. Both masks are lightweight. I'm attaching photos of my skin before using the mud mask and collagen mask combo, but after using my new dermaplaning tool. The first 3 photos are of my full face and then each side, and the last 3 photos are the same, but after using both the mud mask and collagen mask combo. You have to look really close to see the difference of blackheads before and after, and you might not not notice a major miracle by the photos, but I definitely see and, especially, feel the difference. I'm posting a 7th photo of my face before using Medicube products and having only used the Dermaplaning tool on the right side of my face (left side in photo), so you might see what I was starting with. I want to add that I take pretty good care of my skin, and, like I said, I use the best skincare products from SkinCeuticals, which work magic, but, now I'm dermaplaning, and these masks are a must have for me!!
