I have used this GoPro for multiple years now, picture quality is still great, it functions great, and I have never had any issues when using it. I read a lot of terrifying reviews about this and was very concerned, but I'm happy to say that my experience has been great. I've never had any constant overheating problems, or corrupt footage. Everything has been smooth sailing. It is still a solid choice for 2025 in my opinion

I decided to get one for my wife as a gift for our anniversary because a friend of ours has one and he absolutely loves it and I couldn’t believe the video & image quality, all the features, and just how small and portable it is! The problem that I ran into was that I figured I’d save a bit of money and get one that had been returned. It was labeled “Used-Good Condition” but when it arrived, both screens flickered but never actually turned on and it was missing the battery door! I wasn’t thrilled considering our anniversary was a few days away but I returned it and had it credited to my gift card balance to put towards another one. This time I thought, “If I get one that’s “Used-Like New Condition”, surely it will be fine!”. It wasn’t fine. The screens worked this time around and it was in great condition but it wouldn’t stay on for than 5 seconds no matter if you had it plug in, had a fully charged battery, etc.! So moral of the story just buy a new one.

Great product

I bought this camera for my car dashboard. I wasn’t looking for much, but once I started discovering the features it offers I was amazed. The only thing that upset me is its shooting resolutions settings. I still haven’t figured out the best settings yet but it’s doing the job for sure. It’s very small inside which makes it really handy. Need to buy memory card separate and buy some extra batteries as well because the battery runs for one or two hour only depending on uses. But at the end if you like to capture it’s worth it. Nice camera. Thanks.

In terms of accessories, the mounting options are plentiful, but I found that some of the best mounts and mods are sold separately, which adds to the overall cost.

Top of the line go pros cost a ton and this hero 9 is still amazing films great 4k video, and the app go pro provides is so easy to use, I use it for motorcycle riding and the amount of possibility's with different accessories amazing, I get about an hour thirty of film before the camera dies so I do recommend a 2nd battery if you are gonna be filming more

Bought one and after successful testing bought a second. Does all that I hoped for and more. 2 cameras were better value than the "dedicated" video cams pushed by the SIM sellers.

Also bought a cheap mini video cam so now can link 'down the line' with 'front-on' and 'overhead' views to analyse all major swing details. Can also use my phone for 'rear-view' if required.

Really happy with this setup and currently building an all weather outdoor enclosure.

Even though the HERO9 is a few generations old, it offers excellent value for money. It features 5K video, and the image quality isn't significantly different from newer models. Highly recommended for its performance and affordability.

Llevo usando la gopro desde hace ya 1 año y es de mis mejores compras, claro hay que considerar que se necesita mas de 1 pila para poder sacar el mayor provecho a la gopro y en cuanto a problemas de calentamiento pues lo usual se calienta pero no a grado de apagarse.
